Take no notice of the keyboard warriors mate only true carers understand the commitment it takes to look after a loved one till there dieing day you have done your mother proud. Now it's your time to do the things you wanted to do and never had time for foamies and plastic models are great to get in the air quicker but true modeling takes time passion and skill learnt from experience good luck with all your future projects

So glad to see your back. Just had to agree with you about real modelers. You are spot on with the builders culture. Some models I build complete and fly while several others are in various stages depending on where my interests are leading me. Been building and (plan) scratch building for near 60 yrs. Bob really missed your videos...................................hope there's more coming........

I've started building models that I lost interest in and never finished. Sorry to hear about Angel, I enjoyed reading his comments. He was a wealth of knowledge and will be missed.

Great job Rob on the Buccaneer. I have recently finished a Miss America and was worried about flying it as I had no idea what it would do and have never flown 3 channel. There was nothing about engine thrusts or angles of incidence on the plan so I was a little concerned what it would do, Watched your Super Buccaneer first flight vid and immediately took it out and flew it. It was brilliant so thanks for the inspiration. Also pleased to hear your rant on the computer wankers who hide behind their little screens screens. Good job there too so bat on with whatever you feel like doing. For sure your resulting vids will be informative and entertaining. Love ‘em thanks and a spanking New year to you all in the shed.

Shame about Angel, none of us no how long we have so do your own thing .when I looked back through some of your old stuff and realised it was nine years ago I subscribed , where's that gone.You inspired me with the barnstormer build so I had a go my self finished it, maidened it ,loved it . A four stroke petrol would have been good in that , what do you think/ looking forward to next escapades.

Time flies for sure! Great laughs along the way! I've swing towards IC again because with the demise of hobbyking in the UK it's gonna be more painful access cheap lipos and motors etc.

Rob. Brilliant! This episode is the reason why I subscribe to your channel. I followed your Storch build on it and its one of the models that still needs to be finished in my workshop. Keep it up mate. I like the whole idea of tuning in and not knowing previously what it'll all be about

Don’t tell me you going to build yourself the red baron . That’s one huge engine what ever you’re going to build it’s going to be awesome
@spittz39392 жыл бұрын
Love seeing engines on this Channel! Really excited for your future projects! It’s a shame about hobbyking Uk... I started using hobbyking covering film after watching your tutorial on covering a wing. It’s been by far the best value for money covering film I’ve ever used! I’ve stocked up on some rolls which will hopefully last the next couple of planes 😂

Well shiver my surplice.....Rob has returned to the flock. Just catching up with stuff and am very sorry to hear about your finger and thumb matey 😕....93 is a good innings and something our England cricket team could aspire to. Like the NGH 30cc. That pilot needs a huge comedic moustache and a scarf trailing back to the tailplane!

Excited to see how this Hannibal turns out. I was gonna say the Eindecker considering you really didnt like the DR1 back in the day, actuall happy it isn't the DR1. Like the Cub its just to overdone. That NG30 will be a sexy addition to the collection for sure. Till the next one, Merry Christmas Capn Rob

Use a good quality pla like esun. I use PLA+ as it's a but stronger and has a bit higher glass temperature. Or use petg but it's a bit harder to print.

Merry Christmas captain Rob, sorry to hear about your mum. I've been watching your videos for ages, I need some advice on electric motor and esc combo. I have a new kit build plane (all balsa and ply) it's a 60 " wing span or a 40 size trainer, but have no idea what motor or esc to use. It will be running on a 3s. If you could suggest a motor and esc, it would be much appreciated. Many thanks Ashley

Exponential rate is where the servo movement is not directly proportional to the amount of control stick movement on your transmitter. Over the first half on the stick travel, the servo moves less than the stick. This makes control response milder and smoothes out level flight and normal flight maneuvers.
