Matt, you had me laughing so hard when you said something about hanging a GoPro on her to film the horrific injuries from the sledding accident!!!😂 God bless you both for putting a smile on my face tonight as we await the arrival of 1 to 3 inches over here in Durham tomorrow afternoon! I can’t wait to see the shed project come to be for you all. It does seem like we put off getting done what would like to when we’re younger, but that’s the sacrifice we make as parents. I will be turning 60 this coming September and I’m still working as of right now, but I look forward to having time for the projects that I want to do in the years to come. At this point at in time, I don’t wanna put down my roots in this part of the state any longer than I have to. I hopefully the timing will be right in the economy will be stronger when we are ready to offload this house, which is too big for our small family then we’ll head for higher ground in the western part of the state.! If I can talk my wife away from the beach!😂 Y’all have a wonderful evening and hope you get the snow you’re looking for!

Yes, Tipper, you should definitely invest in a pit boss smoker for Matt. I've smoked bacon, beef, chicken, turkey, deer, bison, salmon, and pork a whole lot thru out my lifetime. We had a smokehouse, but now at 63, I've been absolutely loving my pit boss the last 4 years out on my patio. My children would die if I couldn't make them my beef jerky and different sausages ... My smoker runs all seasons, year round. It's definitely worth the investment

It’s been a good while since my husband and I have been up in those mountains. So I really enjoy it when you take us into town. I enjoy seeing the scenery, next best thing to being there. I bet them hotdogs would go real good with some of that kraut that you canned! It’s funny hearing you and Matt carrying on with each other. Always good for a few laughs! That’s kind of the way that David ( hubby) and I do. Always lovingly picking on each other.

Sheds are fun to build -- many ways you can do it to make it unique and useful to your needs. When I built mine, I put a small deck on the side so I could hang out and drink cofee or water while resting in between yard work. Also windows are nice for natural lighting. Love your channel! You guys are so down to Earth and cool and full of useful info..

The deck on the side is a great idea! It’s fun to hang out after you’ve been working on a project. I’ve even packed a lunch sometimes when I’m outside working even though the house is only a few steps away and sit on the swing under the trees to eat.

We are in North Augusta, SC and we are expecting winter weather tomorrow!!! Unfortunately I have to work, but hope to be home 2 to enjoy this short lives phenomenon in the South. Very unusual to get any snow where we are located Tipper like you all. Its just never quite right, the temps, the precipitation etc. It will be gone by Saturday, but so nice and beautiful to see it falling. May have ice also. Eeeek! No ice.

My daughter lives in Tarboro and works at hospital. 15 years of doing MRIs. I'm very happy that she found job that she likes doing and the pay is good also.She is expecting some ice and snow. We live on the coast in Beaufort, N.C and will not be getting any of the frozen stuff.In fact it's been 6 years I believe since we have gotten any snow on the coast.

Matt, I think it would be wise to buy all the wood etcetera, that you will need for your shed and other projects, because with tariffs around the corner, prices will go up. If you google this, you will see that the estimate will be an additional 25% or more.

From this video it looks as if snow is near for you! We got six to eight inches almost a week ago and I’m now really tired of it, as it’s keeping me home! It was very pretty at first, though. I’ve shoveled the sidewalks and a path on the side of the driveway. Tomorrow I’ll start to finish shoveling the driveway and try to get it all cleared so I can get the car out, although the street is still covered with snow. I’m anxious to see your shed go up, as that will be an exciting and useful project!

I have a rubber mat that covers only the center of my truck bed. It keeps things from sliding and I can pull it out easily too. And I carry bungie cords to help hold things in place. I will have to look into this load lock bar thing.

Last Sunday late and all day Monday, between four to five inches of snow accumulated at my house adding to what has been, and still is, a bitter cold spell with heavy winds. That's the most snow I've had in 3 years. As I remark to those who wish for snow, if I never see another flake of snow fall in Carroll County, I'll be happy.

You'll have to set up multiple cameras to capture the sledding action on the ground, and you should have a drone camera follow her down the hill to capture some extra angles and add variety to the shots. The action-packed video "Tipper Celebrates Sledding In Appalachia" will be worth all the extra equipment and production work.

The hardest parts of building a metal shed from a kit were getting a solid level base and waterproofing. If you overbuild the base, you will be glad you did. The only thing that finally worked for waterproofing was to spray Flex Seal on every screw and every joint of the metal sheets.

Matt build it as big as you can’When I built mine (myself and my youngest daughter helped me) and I thought it was a good enough size.. and now I wish I had built it twice the size I have. You WILL always use the room.. I also wrapped mine like they do new built homes. There are no drafts inside and I wrapped it top and all around. No leaks ANYWHERE haha 🙏🏻 I made my roof like a lean to, and left the birds beak hang over so I could hang beautiful lights underneath. You won’t need rebar if you’re not pouring concrete so I am curious to where those are going? My Mom always did our hot dogs in an iron skillet with butter and onions.. so delicious!
