@@HewittShaqit’s so weird how obvious it is people don’t watch the pistons when they blame the losing on Cade. There was a stretch for like 15 games after the all star break where the pistons out scored their opponents when Cade was on the floor, the team was just getting fried when Cade went to the bench. It only took 6-7 minutes and the leads would be destroyed. He’s not perfect player yet but the loss column was truly out of his control often.

I think the NBA contract rules on what allows a player to qualify for what is the problem. He definitely isn't worth the money so to me the bigger issue is what allowed him to qualify for that to begin with. To me he is a third best player. His #s look good outside percentages but he clearly isn't a force multiplier and like bonz said someone has to shoot it. To me he is a 100 mill player with potential to be worth more if he and the team improves and he can stay in top two player position. Now if he does become that 3rd guy and you start winning now that 100 mill looks like you probably get the same deal maybe 20 mill more if we talking third on a championship team.

Cade is definitely a franchise player who is growing and getting better. Didn’t like how they went the whole segment off Cade career stats but never really mentioning injuries or how he’s improved this past year. Didn’t like my man Sheed being drunk and can’t express real love for the Pistons he helped win a championship. No one mentioned all the injuries they had all year that led them have a horrible season. No one mentioned how franchises can turn around or the bad luck they’ve had in the draft the past couple years. Anyway Cade needs to work on TOs, I’m not big on Ivey (fast but can’t shoot), I miss Bogi and should have got more. I see them on a Orlando Magic level of a team that has potential

I think you guys are underestimating the magnitude of Cade's talent He's a Luka-lite, (with better defense) mixed w/ SGA. Jumper does still need work, but he's still growing. You're right, he's not a number one right now, but he can be an ELITE #2 in a quality team situation.
@penkima4923
@penkima4923 Ай бұрын
Luka plays better defense than Cade, and Luka is an elite rebounder, while Cade is nothing special. And even if Luka's threes aren't falling, he makes his twos on a high clip. Cade does not. I don't see the Luka lite in Cade.
@ifheavenwashuman
@ifheavenwashuman Ай бұрын
@@penkima4923 Luka is not a better defender than Cade. The rare times Luka is actually locked in defensively, they MIGHT be equals as Luka's strengths advantage may offset Cade's quickness advantage. Luka is the better better rebounder, and scorer from all three levels which is why I considered Cade a SGA/Luka-lite hybrid. Cade's CEILING is Luka/SGA, but obviously right now he's two steps below both.

Cade is not a point guard and no one seems to know that. We can't afford to lose him. We needs vets. A strong rebounder to help inside. Lot of rebuilding to do. Pistons were weak as hell before the bad Boys were assembled.

Bonzy is not watching this team. Talking about how many points he scores when he is the only play that has to be guarded if Jalen Duren is not on the court. If we had actual other scorers he would probably score more.

I gotta call you out on this one. Bonzi (I'm a fan)- How many full Detroit games did you watch last season? I would put my money on goose egg (0). You can't just pull up the stats and get how impactful a player is. Motor Cade is a monster. I could pull up some clips if you want to see them. One thing you hear about Cade from his teammates is how he's a leader beyond his years. Yes, he could easily put up 30/game if that was important to him although he gotta fix them turnovers but he's going to be a star in the league. Short sample: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qquqdGCtfcx6iJY. Sheed, I'm still pist at you. During your time a Piston, I felt I could have made the argument for you being one of the best if not the best player in the league at that time. You were unstoppable but selective. It was good when you got pissed off cause I know somebody was about to get cooked. You rock with Cade. You know who this cat is and he's going to lead a team to a championship one day. Deeeeetroit Basketbaaaaall! You know how we get down.

If any team playing bad ball like the Pistons,why wouldn't the leading scorer have a bad fga being responsible for the majority of the offense. He's s point forward, he ain't looking to score first anyway. Respect y'all

If you're the only good scorer on a team then it's all eyes on you. He didn't even shoot that bad this last year. He shot like league average with no help. If Detroit can get their shit together and his efficiency goes up, he'll be an all star level player
