I know that I'm listening to real ballers speak, but I'm reminded that real ballers can be as clueless as normal fans too. The only teams that have won titles with the "go out and get a superstar" strategy have been those LeBron/ KG multi-player arranged teams and Kawhi at Toronto. All other teams have been continuity teams (Nobody wanted to be in the bubble more than LeBrons title aspirations and the Dubs didn't need KD, just somebody better than Harrison Barnes). The Spurs, Bulls, Celtics, showtime Lakers, Rockets, Dubs, Nuggets... all continuity teams with upgrades around the margins. Steph looked tired because he had to handle the ball too much and gets defended too aggressively by multiple defenders, they needed more ball handling and scoring, not necessarily a star.

Partly because of LeBron has never used quickness as his weapon. He uses size. Dip his shoulder, push people away with his arm. Or just get a long run at the goal because nobody is going to let somebody his size just run into them when they started their run at half court. And that will always allow you to have a longer run of being effective. The oldest players in the league have always been centers or power forwards.

we’ve said what b wells said for months. but disagree with him on this take. Green is to valuable of a player to get rid of. the only player on the team,maybe the league that can literally make plays on offense without scoring AND guard all five positions including center which isn’t his natural position. We also don’t think Golden State needs a superstar player. In our opinion what they do need is 2-3 key players to fit with their core nucleus who can fill a role,rebound, add youth,play defense and bring athleticism. Then from that point it's up to Kerr and his system to put the pieces together in a winning way.

Totally agree. Everyone just needs to look back at the 2022 lineup. Just the right mix of well rounded vets and hungry youth. Gsw cannot afford to get rid of Green since he is too involved in most of the plays they design for Steph. If they decide to do away with that system, they might as well rebuild.

If they rebuild we're like you just add a few key pieces(veterans and young athletic) energy guys who can and want to defend and you have a nice nucleus. But to blow up the team and have curry on an island. That's almost as crazy as what the Lakers did in KB24's final yrs. You'd just have Curry playing his ass of for ticket sales and tv views. To us the system isn't working with this new group of players.It may be time to either upgrade it,add to it or do away with it. Because with out the right group the last 2 yrs has proven to be disastrous .

Being scoreless in such an important game after 32 minutes is crazy. Keeping a scoreless player on the court for 32 minutes after you have had other players produce is crazy.
