Great video. When life seemed so normal compaired to modern times. I took part in the 1969 or 70 carnival as a Zulu, which was run by Ray Featherstone's gang.

I was long gone by the time this was shot, but this is more like I remember the old carnivals, as opposed to the modern ones that are posted up here.

I agree with you I was 7 years old when this footage was made and seeing some of these Carnival floats bring back a lot of memories as we lived in one of the roads off of Marine Parade in which the Carnival is going along.
