Although it's changed in many places, it's still recognisable through out this video. Many thanks for the memories. ❤

Love your videos. I love leysdown and it makes me so sad to how beautiful and free it was and to see that they build on every bit of land at any given chance

Thank you. Yes, all different now, I'm afraid. More on the way.

Only moved to Sheppey a year ago and loved this video. Recognise most of the places already. Good work!

I used to visit a lot during the 1980s. There was a small grocery shop in Warden, perilously close to the crumbling cliff edge. I imagine it disappeared many years ago 🙂

Yes, Cerne, not long after in the 90s, I believe.

They are so worried (Not) about the bombs on the Montgomery that they have allowed the building of hundreds of houses on the island, would it not have been better to have removed them and then once the work had been done to allow the building of houses around the coastal areas to have been built, but as always they leave it for the next generation, on the hope that nothing happens in their time. Thought we were allies with the americans seems we were not that is while the ship was left, they had the technology then to have dealt with it.Look at the way they cleared Pearl Harbour up after the attack. Let us hope it never goes up, it does not bear thinking about. Am guessing it would send a tidal wave up both the thanes and the river medway.

Very sad to see all those beautiful places that have been lost forever, lived in Leysdown for 12 years now and love the place. Thanks for a great video.
