OTJ always! Barlows too. I wonder why it took late 19th Century American knife manufacturers so long to start making Barlows regularly. You are right about the Sheffield groups "churnin & burnin" them out. Nice look at a couple of English Barlows, thanks Rick.

Wonderful! I just got a Wright Barlow. And aside from Böker, Sheffield makes the nicest Barlows!

Nice Barlow’s, they are probably my favorite slip joint knives.

Me too Tony - They weren't this first knives I owned, probably didn't get my 1st barlow until I was in my Mid 20's - but have loved them ever since! Thanks for stopping in... Have a great day my friend ✌️🙏🇺🇸

Thanks Paul, I think most that heard Ian Anderson for the 1st time thought to themselves, This guy has got some wicked talent. I've been a big fan of "Jethro Tull" even during all the band member changes - Have a great day my friend ✌️🙏 P.S. another Englishman with exquisite talent, Tony Iommi played guitar for Ian on this song, (which was for a Rolling Stones event)

I'm still blinking at the blades on those two. Yatagan's ? I've honestly never seen them on a Barlow. What a treat. Thanks Rick 👍.

Cool! Nice Barlow; I love that black sawcut bone. My vintage Wostenholm is a 5" full-tang hunter, stag scales. Thanks for the look!

Great classics and the music too! Did you see Steven Cocker’s Stannington Barlow on my channel recently? It’s very much in this style.
@Warthogg1 Жыл бұрын
No Eric, but I plan on catching up with you & a few others today - finally have a day to relax - I put out enough content recently where I can relax for awhile. I also got enough things done on the personal side the past 2 weeks to be able to chill out & watch knife videos for a few days too. I noticed your email yesterday, which I'll reply to sometime today! I love Steven Cocker's work, I've seen a video he put out from the past & was very impressed with his old style craftsmanship - even down to the process of drilling holes & working the scales for the shield or bar (is it called a rasp?) Anyway, I have to give you some info on our trade - look for an email soon. How do you get a Steven Cocker barlow anyway? I've seen a jack he made in MOP with the most exquisite file work I've ever seen. It was somewhere around 11,000! amazing knife

Very nice!! My buddy has one for sale, it’s a bit smaller but it’s got stag handles and the bolsters are a goldish color. It’s brand new and he’d sell it for $60, is it worth it? I know nothing about these but he’s had it a long time.

As long as it's in good working order, I'd buy it at that price!
