Sheila E. definitely is funky. I especially like those drums in the opening credits. I saw her open for Prince on the Purple Rain tour. Sheila E. and he band had great costumes. All custom made. I also saw her perform with Prince on the Lovesexy tour.

I saw the Purple Rain concert in Tallahassee. Morris Day and the Time played as well. It's the best concert I have ever seen. The energy was amazing! The only performance equally amazing was Carol Channing in Hello Dolly. Again with the energy.

@@mjsbadgirl777 Carol Channing was around way before Prince. Prince *was* incredible, but don't underestimate future musicians. He's still the best performer in his art genre IMO. I'm looking forward to the next generation of musicians who will draw inspiration from his music. Every great musician was inspired by other great musicians. Prince was inspired by the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Sly and the Family Stone, Carlos Santana, Joni Mitchell and Parliament/Funkadelic, James Brown, Stevie Wonder and Miles Davis. Note that the Rolling Stones, The Who, Led Zeppelin and others were inspired by and covered Lead Belly, Howling Wolf, Blind Willie and etc. These artists were influenced by slave spirituals, inspired by thousand of years of tribal music. There's a young band that mixes genres of music and is currently preforming Black Spirituals mixed with Black Metal named Zeal and Ardor. That's not all they do though (rap, chamber music and etc.) You never know how the next generation will be inspired.

Its so nice to see two of the women prince loved so much being so close. Mayte is also close with manuela, princes second wife, it shows what a big heart that mayte has. Sheila E was the woman in the 80s. I remember wanting to be sheila E when i grew up! Now im 43 and i still want to be sheila E! Who is cooler or more talented or better looking then she is!!! The animal rescue mayte is doing is wonderful. Shes making a big difference in the life of these animals. Her book is wonderful and i help where i can, i bought her book in physical form and also bought it on audibles, she narrates the book and it is so personal and worth it to experience her reading to the listener, the ups and downs of her amazing life Love you mayte and sheil God bless you both.

The ancient Egyptians, and the Chinese used it to carve familial seals and rings of identification. Prince found inspiration in its alchemical symbol when he changed his name in the 1990s. (My personal belief is he was trying to combine the male/female symbols) Geologists call it steatite. ❤ She is so cool. I love dogs and cats and animals. I have 3 little dogs. I do everything with them. I even have a pet gear stroller so we can go in long walks and sit at outdoor restaurants. I groom them. I gave them there shots, make herbal remedies for them. I was and will grow a doggie garden for them. Dog food is terrible quality or terribly expensive, so I supplement it with healthy vegetables. Carrots are a sweet treat, and bell pepper are their favorite. I am dreaming of getting out more. Covid shut down the dog parks, so my little guys are very barkinous. I am working with them so they will be allowed on the plane with me. Traveling with dogs is complicated. I wish I had like a scooby doo van 😂 so I can take a traveling dancers vacation. I love to dance 💃 Bellydancing is one of my favorites. I like the style and movements of ATS style belly dance but prefer happier music with tabla drumbeats. Have you seen the Rachel Brice back end floordrop? That’s my favorite. I also like tap dancing, arial silk, ballet 🩰 and traditional dances like the Rwandan Ballet, Bangladeshi folk dances, oh and Bollywood. I used to teach, that was fun. If I can get a bigger house I will come by and pick up some more dogs 😊 and build a waterless permaculture dog garden 🪴. I learned from Geof Lawton greening the desert 🏜 You know, I lost everything but that’s how I found out I already have everything. My dogs, dancing, music, gardening. Can you make a life of your favorite things? Let’s find out 😂

Manuela has never once been on TV telling lies dragging Princes name through the dirt,she has never used him to make money by selling his stuff at countless auctions,she has never cashed in on their marriage by releasing a book,mayte has done all of these things and more. All mani does is stay silent and continues doing charity work in Princes honour by building schools and installing music rooms in underprivileged schools and so much more and she pays tribute to Prince and his charity work at her charity fundraisers again mayte has never done any of this.
