Chris, thank you so much for this video. I think these two books deserved this calm and articulated expression of how it moves the reader so deeply. I was shocked by the rush to give this a "1-star" or "2-star" rating. But it's top level, emotional art.

I was going to ask if you’d heard Michael Silverblatt’s interview with Heti, but you answered my question in the video! I’ve read both of these books. I loved Alphabetical Diaries, but I wasn’t so sure about Pure Colour - though now your enthusiasm makes me want to give it another go!
