@@ClickbaitMotorsports manual vs auto I’ve driven every version of the c8 and while they are fun to drive, they certainly handle better, none of the c8’s have the feel and sound of a gt350. I’m a big fan of the c8 tho

Shelby's rarely disappoint. I had a choice between a Shelby or a new home back when these 350's were still available directly from Ford. We chose the home so I would have a garage to safely park all my toys. Priorities... Stay classy my friend.

How soon everyone forgets the Voodoo has a high incidence of excess oil consumption and tossing pistons if driven hard. It truly is a gorgeous car with the best sounding V8.

The gen 1’s 2015-2018 were prone to that. They fixed the issues with the gen 2 (2019-2020). I have a 2020 in the Heritage edition like this one and it is an unprecedented American production car accomplishment.

@normendiaz they tried to "fix" it. That's a big reason for the end of the run. The motor is unbalanced and much time near the red line it will still self destruct use oil and cause the owner a lot of money. I agree it's a unique car, and if not driven hard or modified it will be a decent motor. Too many of these motors granaded. If yours lasts it will be for those reasons. I owned one, loved it, but it is a garanade. The 5.0 is a superior engine in every way. With a blower it's 650 hp your 350 will never achieve for any lengthy period.

The 350R is for collectors who like to talk about how fantastic the car is. The fact that they can’t drive it because of the fear factor of its resale value going down is what drove me to get a HEP GT350 and change out the heavy wheels and drive it in canyons and tracks. When I’m too old to drive it is when I will give it to my Grandson.
