FKA twigs is in a league of HER OWN. She's not just incredibly innovative with her music, her visuals and live performances are just as amazing. She knows how to do multiple styles of dance including but not limited to tapdancing, pole-dancing, sword-dancing (wushu), hip-hop, and contemporary. The only modern artists I would compare her to, in terms of creativity and talent, would be Tyler the Creator and Frank Ocean. In terms of older artists she's inspired by, she's definitely influenced by Kate Bush and Bjork.

She was trained by an opera singer so the influence is clearly there. She also said in an interview she used to sing big songs vocally wise like Aretha Franklin on bars before becoming a professional dancer and eventually a singer
