So either way Sheldon was wrong not to stop Amy initially and then he was wrong to stay for dinner. So while you're right that she had a right to be mad about his response to the situation at the end, you're stupid if you think that she had the moral high ground. Sheldon should also have been mad that she was insulting his friend for no reason initially. Also a partner or friend is not a yes man, they are someone who should encourage you when you're right but also have the courage to point out you're mistakes. Either way what we see of Sheldon is a poor partner in general, but Amy in this episode had had no moral high ground to speak from.
