I was talking to my husband about this case as I am from Georgia and lived in Fulton County a large part of my life there. He, unlike myself, has been on a grand jury as well as being a juror. I asked him, with how long this case has went on, how the jurors are providing for their family, and he informed me that the law protects jurors and that their employers must pay them the entire duration of the trial as if they were working. So, the jurors who are employed are being paid their regular salary, along with what they are making from the state for being a juror.

ChatGPT says: While Georgia law (O.C.G.A. § 34-1-3) does not explicitly mandate that employers must pay employees for jury duty, an Attorney General opinion from 1989 suggests that employers should pay wages during jury leave. Many counties in Georgia have adopted this practice, although it is not a legal requirement. In my opinion, I think many employers choose to pay employees who serve jury duty to remain competitive and attract talent.

Because the state has to prove beyond a reasonable doubt. They can’t use fake addresses to prove a point. A fake address would be reasonable doubt.

This trial has went from the age of Pisces, into the age of Aquarius. That's how long it been going on..At this point is become utterly ridiculous. Can't imagine how disruptive it's been to the jurors lives. 😮
@alicesmith6750Ай бұрын
Maybe Jeffery was sent to jail to show the criminals an example of how he lives his life. He may even be a role model and get a key to Atlanta for his anti-gang lifestyle.
