Totally love Steve Albini not caring about doing all of the vocals. He does what he feels like or can. Got a great bootleg of a Rapeman show where he's getting heckled to turn the vocals up to which he replys, "We can't turn the vocals up.....vocals are for people who don't understand rock". Legend.

Traynor TS-50b amp. Just any standard single-coil bass (though obvious an aluminum-necked one will assist) and the right settings on a TS-50b (or any TS-50b preamp clone and your power amp du jour) and that nasty tone can be yours.

I'm sad that this is the first time being aware of this band. I'm sad to hear the passing of Steve Albini. You can tell they all love what they are doing here. Such great bass and guitar riffs. This is how I imagine my punk garage band sounding like. I'm calling my friend and hopefully jamming again soon!

I dont know how to say this and dont have anyone to say it to but i need to say something. I feel kinda silly but ill give it a go here. My you tube feed always has alot of albini and shellac related videos so didnt think anything of it when there was lots of it popping up a few weeks ago. Then I noticed why that was and I avoided it like I didnt want to know didn't want to believe it was true. Steve and his work, expecially Shellac have been such a big part of my life for 20+ years now and I genuinely feel like I've lost a close freind. I finally brought myself to spin to all trains a few days ago and I always enjoyed this video, watched it many times over the years so I ended up here. Rest easy Steve, you'll be sorely missed. Thanks for posting this vid and keeping it up all these years. They fucking slay it during this show clear to see why they were so important and loved by so many.
