very confusing video. why so many wires and connectors. hands are in the way. it’s easy but this video made it complicated.

Should have had "How to change to 12 Vdc" in your "How to" video. I had a heck of a time picking at the jumper that didn't want to come up through the small hole. Broke little bits of plastic off of the jumper. Eventually realized it was not hard to pop open the case and swap the jumper and close it back up.

This is quite confusing. I am not idiot on electricity, but sentences "connect the light to the O input, O is the output" make me cringe. All these cables on that board. Where do they go? what do they do? What's up with the white thing on the top right? what do the three wires do behind the one lamp? My general understanding is N and L1 power the shelly. The relay just connects I and O when the thing is set to ON. If you want to power your lamp, you put power into I, get it back out of O, send it to your lamp and then to neutral. if you put power into SW, it will click to ON. right? maybe.

Tried the Shelly 1 and 1PM. And I think 1PM is a better investment. It has reset button, need less connectors (easiest installation) and power metering is a nice to have.

App does not work or you can't connect the shelly? I'm new to these device but the easiest way I found was this: 1. Connect to shelly wifi 2. Open chrome and type 192.168.33.1 3. Settings > Setup your home Wifi 4. Open Shelly App and add device to a room.

@@TrinkaoYT yea I did all that. I could open in browser but app could not find device. Really I could live with that. I only needed them for simple automation. I don’t always need to access them so accessing them through the local IP was fine. That would have worked except it would not sync without local time. So scheduling would be off. I fought that for another hour. Decided to return them

Hello, Please, I have a problem that I can't solve, I have alots of shelly controls lights. I cannot make a correct automations with any one. This because the binary sensor input that gives us the state of the shelly (if is in on or Off) is only updated with the switch (interruptor). So if the last time the switch was on, then the binary sensor remains in on state even if I turn off the light from HA. The binary sensor is only updated with the physical switch. I try all configurations but no way. I cannot have the correct state. Now i have the setting: type Button in Edge switch and Power On default mode in Restore Last Mode. Any solution to have the correct state? please need help ! thank you very much

what happen if you accidentally switch the line and neutral ? I mean the line cable going to "N" and the neutral cable going to "L"

Room "DISCOVERED DEVICES" just keep on not showing in my apps. Tried via android, IOS and manually as mentioned in the video... nothing

Buongiorno ho acquistato uno scelly uno plus sono riuscito a cablarlo e fallo funzionare ma l ho dovuto spostare inserendolo in un nuovo wi fi e qui nasce il problema non trova il dispositivo l ho inserito tramite IP dispositivo trovato su informazioni dispositivo ma lo stesso non lo trova non so come montarli se questo devo installarlo devo capire come funzione ma ciò conta di più capire come risolvere questi inconveniente c é un tutorial qualcosa spieghi dettagliatamente pure questo inconvwnienti

Shelly is CRAP! The directions that come with it, you have to be an engineer with "HUGE BIFOCALS" to understand. And when you do think you got it....The app SUCKS! Still can not load up the app and or can not final connect with the puck. And to add to this.... The USA branch in Vegas. goes to voice-mail and no message.... WTF If you Email them, it goes to the HQ. over seas, and they just try to get you to buy another puck to see if that works....WTF The concept is great! If it works, connects, and tech support was helpful. I feel they just thew it out-there for a need and too fast. Without de-bugging it before launching.
