By far the best video out there.i know persons usually say that line, but i really have been on a hunt for a video that shows 2way switching, ie two switches one light....this does it best.also been looking for a video that shows shelly to the sockets or recepticles abd this is the only ive seenn so well done

When i click enable ckoud it shows loadinh then the lights come on....after i get a message saying could not reach device

@@uittyman Is this still and issue, or got resolved? Maybe there was some communication glitch, but I would expect it to be online in a few minutes either on the cloud, or the cloud option did not turn on.

Great video but I have a suggestion, at minute 11:00, it's not that Shelly remembers... This is a mechanical switch When you turn it back, it physically interrupts the circuit

If your switch is rated for 110V, that is probably for a reason. I would not use if for 220.

For Sonoff is there a similar setting like the option to choose between the 'Toggle Switch' and the 'Edge Switch'? It is by default set on the 'Edge Switch' in the Sonoff Mini.

If think there is on the mini. You can use it either with a momentary switch or with a toggle switch.

Great video, but i have a problem with edge switch option. When I'm trying to get it to "edge switch" i receive an error "Bad default state and button type combination" do you have an idea what is wrong? I'm using generic on/off switch.

Let me redirect you to the Shelly Facebook group for support. Edge is explained here. But it does not make sense for me either, as it is clearly mentioned that edge was designed to work with regular on/off switches: facebook.com/notes/shelly-support-group-english-version/button-types-explained/2331082316991119/

How would it affect my shelly1pm if the live(L1) and neutral(N) are reversed . By the way, Thanks for the very informative video.

To be honest, I was not paying attention if L1 is really live and N is the neutral. So I think there is no impact. Of course the reason this is important, because if you are switching the neutral and not the mains, you can still be electrocuted when you fiddle around with your bulb, device when it is turned off. But the Shelly does not care.
