wired my switch this way but the shelly never responded to the switch. About an hour later it died...

Be very careful when tightening the screws, just enough to feel some resistance. They are very weak!!! I tightened with very little force and yet the screw broke and I had to threw the shelly in the garbage and get a new one.

I agree. What is the Nm torque spec for the screws? I tighten them and move Shelly and switches back into box and check the tightness and they are looser and so I carefully tighten them some more. Using solid #14 wire seems like when I move the Shelly back and forth it needs another snug tightening. Torque specs anyone??

If the screw strips pop it out and use another one, the socket is generally much tougher.

Really good products, standard shipment terrible, I suggest DHL shipping or buy in other online store. Worst experience ever with nexive courier. 😡

This is not the same as your instructions. MrCone9 asked 2 years ago "don't you need the L1 cable". Your knowledge base document has Live source going into L1 and the switch between L and SW. To confuse matters more the 24-60v diagram has negative going to L and positive going to N. Please answer your customers and clear up the confusion: this is something that should have clear and consistent instructions we aren't just cutting grass here!

This recover the uses of the device. It fails to show and describe at the same time so isn't clear ally is not good. The English is poor and sometimes is just a word jumble free of meaning! It does not describe and show which is essential in such videos. It doesn't evevn describe what the device does adequately. Needs much more effort to make this worth watching.
