Shelton was a friend n classmate of mine. I will never forget when we were in the sixth grade we had career day n the teacher asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up n he said "A wrestler". Everyone was teasing n laughing. I really believed that he was gonna be on tv wrestling one day. We used to play football n wrestle on the playground almost everyday lol!!!! We could never beat him even when all of us tried together lol 😆. I could out run him tho. We both were fast n we would always win most of the events at every field day. I think Shelton's biggest fear is being himself. Showing vulnerability and putting his emotional self on the line; he even admitted as much by saying he was reluctant to come on. He's great at putting his body on the line but he needs to offer up himself as a human being. This is one of the more genuine and heartfelt interviews he's had. He needs to do this on the mic. So what if you didn't achieve what the others in your class did? Embrace it.

Shelton, nobody will be upset if you left WWE. All your fans would be thrilled if you left, you aren't being showed the respect by WWE.

The man literally just signed a new 5 year deal with WWE, even if he wanted to leave they aren't going to let him till that entire 5 years up. The crazy thing is, even if they don't plan on actually using him they still wouldn't even think about letting him go and pay him to stay and do nothing, just so he won't go somewhere else where he might actually be used properly. So, while it might've been the better option for him to go and continue his career elsewhere...Now that he's signed that deal, his only real option is make the best of the situation he's in. I just really hope that he's given that opportunity to show his full potential. He definitely has the dedication, passion, and mindset to succeed, he just needs the right opportunity and WWE's full support.

Wrestling felt cool back in the day, now it feels like scripted politics. Having it kids friendly is what really ruined wwe.

This is a special interview, there is so much about Shelton that I can see in me regarding holding yourself back. I think someone at WWE needs to show love and push Shelton for him to get to the top again, I don't think he is the type while at WWE to DIY style. I would love him to jump on social media and create a persona or an angle, but at this age and comfortablablity, I doubt he would do it......which is what I would be like in his situation.
