@@moitoi9571 Gameplay was phenomenal, atmosphere was breathtaking, storytelling sucked ass though unfortunately, so that was a little disappointing after an 18-year wait. Overall it was a pretty good game though and I had a lot of fun.

i live in japan now and i have gone to yokosuka like two or three times because of this game. last year i also went to hong kong just because of the shenmue influence. i visited the man mo temple which was pretty close to the real thing in the game. i guess the next place to go is china lol.

Don't know why I'm excited for this game. Watching a wood-splitting simulator makes me cringe and have ptsd over the "dry the books" fuckery of Shenmue II.

Good music. Shenmue is known for its fantastic music. But so far, I've been a little disappointed with the music in SIII, and I had a similar experience with SII. The chinese sound is not as deep as the japanese-like melodies of the first one. Of course, there were a few mind blowing music moments in SII, although most of the music wasn't as magical the first game's.

I hope you are kidding when you say that. Shenmue II's score is equally as good as the first Shenmue and with Shenmue III coming out, the reused tracks that are being used from previous games are being heard for the first time in their original uncompressed format. You can now hear a lot of the instruments like they were meant to be heard but couldn't be on the dreamcast due to size issues at the time. The new tracks which, most, if not, all were already composed at the time but because Shenmue III has been forever in the making, they are getting put to use here and they sound fantastic but if you think otherwise, that's up to you. Good day.
