The character models look a lot better now, this game is going to be great. All they have to do now is fix the fighting camera when fighting multiple opponents and improve hit reactions and it will be complete.

That's the problem with having the angled, 'over shoulder' Off-Center camera. - it restricts the view, making gameplay awkward. It should be a Center camera. Ryo should be centered at all times on screen, to give an equal view of His surroundings, Like the Original Shenmue games.

@@stacks9079 I can recall the originals, and no, the camera was not centered in the fights, only waking in the streets it was centered. You should go back and dry some fights in the originals... I overbearing better visibility in the shenmue 3 fights. In Shenmue 1 and 2 often when you're surrounded suddenly you received punches or kicks from an angle where you didn't expect it because the camera didn't show some of the opponents. I'm glad they've fixed that and placed the camera a little more distant and in a sugerente angle, so you can actually see where the bad guys are and try to be a bit more tactical in the fights, being able to see their moves.

@@dragonseye00 The walking camera in Shenmue 3 is what I'm referring to when I'm pointing out the 'Off-Center' camera being awkward. I don't have an issue with the 'fights' camera. It's Only the Walking camera I dislike. - I'm Currently playing through Shenmue 2. I much prefer the original Center view camera.

@@stacks9079 I thought you spoke about the fights 😊 well, it's for sure an angle that will take a bit to get used to it. But often we see something we're not used to and believe it's no good, but once we use it and get done to it it's actually quite neat. For me it also looks a bit strange, but I'm sure yu suzuki chose that angle for a good reason. I like what I see and I won't judge these things until I played a while and can really evaluate the visuales and mechanics of the game 😁 For now it looks like they did an amazing job with the budget. The topic of the angle, its strange, but tensions to be seen once you play it.

Great trailer, it shows a little bit of everything that makes Shenmue great. The scenery, the atmosphere, the music, the arcade games, the fighting, the cutscenes, all of the ingredients are present and I loved it. Can't wait to play the Demo in September.

I don't bother si much about Ren's voice, I think the new voice is fitting. I'm actually glad they have a new voice actor for Shenhua, because the English dub of her in Shenmue 2 was... horrible. He said that he'd repraise the time off Ren, fünf... But we don't know if yu suzuki was not happy with his voice double, or if he asked for too much money, or whatever reason there may be. For me Ren is an important character, but I can perfectly accept the new voice. I'm rather Cyrus if we'll see Guizhang and / or Joy again... I'd bet both el have their appearance in the game...

It's finally starting to take form! It looks nice, it's a shame Eric Kelso isn't doing Ren's voice tho. I wonder why he wasn't hired for the role... He used to do many voices for AM2 back in the 90s and early 2000s.

I don't like camera when Ryo is walking. It is too close. Hopefully, it will have an option to zoom out to see the whole body, not just a half body.

im sure that this is to show how verstatile how much control the player has with teh camera( youll be able to swing it 360 around charecter like most modern games) but the standard camera will be thereim sure like how they showed in the dmeo

Exactly. There was Nothing wrong with the Original camera in the previous games. It was better! No reason to change the center view. I really hope they have an option to change the camera! I hate this Close "over shoulder" Camera! I want the Original, Center view, directly behind Ryo. - Like the Original Shenmue games. This "New" camera view is awkward. - Honestly, It would not be hard for the Developers to have Camera Options, to change the view. Let's hope they give us the option to change the camera view, So we can All enjoy the game.

Yes and... Actually, people bash so much about Epic Games and Deep Silver... But they added to the development budget and si they are the reason why we get a bigger, more complete and more polished game now. People love to hate unfortunately. I'm glad things came togwther this way, to give us this great gaming experience, which it will be without a doubt.

@@dragonseye00 its as if people don't realise it costs alot of money to make a game. And, the more ambitious the project, the more it costs. Therefore, in order for Yu to make Shenmue 3 as good as he can, he needs funding to do so! - People overlook the fact that Epic gave alot of funding, When they signed a deal. Games aren't made cheap. I'm sure Yu only wants to produce the best game he can.

Well, they will meet, we know that because of one of the previous trailers. If they will have a fight in this very game needs to be seen. The voyage will only be 40-50% concluded with shenmue 3, so I doubt we'll see a final fight with Lan Di... But maybe yes,... We will have to wait and find out ourselves

That's a failed qte there? On the fight with Chai you can see what it looks like a button prompt for a frame.

It's quite well possible... If you succeed maybe he'll escape,... If you fail he'll smack you up... Similar like in the arcade at dobuita, even though that was an open fight,... but in a very tight space like that golum had a big advantage

Yeah Its no way in hell he should be able to lose to chai after learning from the 4 kung fu martial arts wude masters especially Xuiying. He beat Dou Nou so chai should be nothing.

@@A1truth well, we had 3 to 4 encounters with chai. In the arcade very few ein against him, in the warehouse it was just qte and no fight, at the end of shenmue we did have to beat him to get to the end of the game, and it wasn't easy either. I didn't analyse the video too much, but it might well be on the ship, chapter 2,which was not included to shenmue 2 and only existed as a comic for the shenmue 2 xbox version. If its in the village... Beating the fat guy and fighters in Shenmue 2 doesn't mean you'll beat chai easily. He's quick and a dodger, that's a very difficult fight at any time, especially if you're in a small space

@@dragonseye00 No cant accept that at all. Its a reason chai was a part 1 final boss and not in part 2 because Ryos abilities far surpassed his martial arts in part 1 and he fought better opponents in part 2 as well. Chai cant even beat that Cowgirl in part 2 lol.
