On the Dreamcast I used to breeze through this part without any trouble. HD remake however took me two attempts and that was a right to the last health point. One more hit and I was down. My Shenmue skills have become weak over the years. Should have eaten those carrots the farmers grew.

Well for some reason it seems some moves have screwed up hitboxes in the HD ports, making some good combos not possible, i hope that gets fixed.

Rimmer they nerf his combos on this one I use to knock them down and clip them while there on the ground smh and link other combos do to where they about fall and I would hit them with something else but now they nerf the shit out of it making it less enjoyable to play smh

Deborah Overton True but i don't think these hitboxes were nerfed on purpose, i'm sure this is just another mistake made by the small Dev team that was rushed by SEGA.

The fact that it has taken years for people to finally start mastering the combat of this game goes to show you how deep it was and still is. I can’t believe this is a NERFED version of the Virtua Fighter engine and it still stays amazingly fluid.
