I've seen several videos from Huaqiangbei in the past and it was always crowded. That was before 2020 when everything began to change.

Actually a lot of stores has shuttered down. The quality of the customer has completely changed. A product $500 they would offer them $50 that is crazy. Bricks

@@BrownEye I never thought about how BRICS would affect the economy of the countries involved. Economics is an area I know very little about. Science and math have always been my strengths.

I love videos of Huaqiangbei! It is a shame to see it so much less prosperous than it used to be.

Unfortunately many business are shutting down especially affected from North American and European customers.

You can buy online on Chinese sites directly to the Chinese manufacturers so no need to buy from These small middleman shops which would be more expensive.
