Hi Matt! This series has been absolutely brilliant! If I could wish for more, it would have been really nice to see more of the finished work at the end of each episode. Cheers. Keep it up.

Alright, Matt, we were watching Carl Rogers build a shepherds hut and came back here for a rewatch and wondered where the bit of railroad track went.

Lovely job - great idea to build the bed in and then make all that storage, shepherds always have so much luggage!! ...sheep dog accommodation?! 🌲🦊🌲💕

You joke but i have seen original ones with pens for lambs under the bed.

That looks great Matt. Fitted furniture has good points and bad. If the destination is handy everything is fine. If its a long way away then free standing is much easier.

What are the irwin clamps like, in your opinion? I need some new clamps which are decent. Thanks.
@Badgerworkshop7 жыл бұрын
I like them. They were quite cheap on amazon and i have been using them for a few years now with no problem.

Great job mate. I always hated dowels, so difficult to get them right.
@Badgerworkshop7 жыл бұрын
Thank you. Yes you do have to be spot on with them. If i used them more I might invest in a Domino.

Really nice job. Have you considered having something that slides out of the cupboard so you can get into the back of the cupboard without climbing in?

Bed looks terrific. Is there a reason you do not use biscuits ?.
@Badgerworkshop7 жыл бұрын
Thank you Tony. I don't think biscuits would be strong enough. I just watched a video Wood Work Life did about them.
@scottmclean63016 жыл бұрын
Is it better than a biscuit machine. It is basically a domino machine to be fair. I thought you could use it to make long grooves if you moved the machine sideways tho probably no good for the blades
@Badgerworkshop6 жыл бұрын
It does bot have blades, it used two drill bits

Hi Matt, Nice build, but it looks like a small double bed and if it is you need to put support down the middle as the slats will sag over time without it. If it's a single size you'd probably get away with it.

What is the duo doweller like?
@Badgerworkshop7 жыл бұрын
Its OK. It takes a bit of work to get good results. Its no Domino but then it is a lot cheaper. I probably would not get one again.
@sumosprojects7 жыл бұрын
Love it, who would of thought glue & screws & dowels would be strong enough lol, sorry just giving it to the fine woodworking fraternity 👍👍👍👍

Good stuff! How do u like the dbl doweler? Is it accurate? Or is it off a little when u assemble the boards? I've heard good and bad.been thinking about getting one thanks matt
@Badgerworkshop7 жыл бұрын
It is an OK machine. To get good results you have to be carful. The fence gets knocked out of square all the time. I probably would not get it again and save up for a domino but then it is much cheaper.
