Frist time ever in my life I ate Shepherds pie was when a Japanese friend of mine made it! She had lived in England as a teenager and she baked us Shepherds Pie. Now we cook it all the time.😄 We have international friends , but learning how to make a British meal from a Japanese woman was highly amusing.
