My best friend in high school (1980s) was incredibility smart and gifted and a memory like you can not believe. He was reading 5-8 nonfiction books a week and volunteering at the local hospital. All he talked about was medicine and being a doctor. 9, 10, 11th grades was straight A's. If he scored below 100 it was a 98 or 99% and everyone in class joked about it. During Senior year he started smoking pot on the weekends. Within a few months he was smoking about everyday if he had it. Staying up late almost every night. Grades plummeted to 50/50 A's and B's and gym was a big F (non attendance). Went from about perfect to mediocre. Last two months he sort of got back on track, but by then it was way too late. He still graduated salutatorian and was voted most likely to succeed. However, no medical school would give him a scholarship after seeing his senior year grades and that really took the air out of his sails. Last I saw him he was still smoking, working at a car dealership, a lifelong renter, and not a book in sight. He had recently rear ended an old lady at a stop light at about 50 mph. "I zoned out for a sec". Ironically, I always struggled in school and had no interest in medicine, but ended up being a nurse, then Physician Assistant, and now hospital administrator in a major city. I've never used drugs a day in my life. Never even tried pot. I never had any interest fortunately. Now speaking for myself there's no way I could have this level of success being a regular pot (or alcohol) user. The world is way too competitive and it's very easy to miss opportunities. I never bring up my career with my HS friend as it's way to awkward knowing he was expecting to full ride at an Ivy league medical school.

I struggled hearing voices for A while and prescriptions helped temporarily but eventually the voices and racing thoughts returned. I was finally put on 3 medications with Doctors telling me my life expectancy is 55 because of another disease I contracted from my medications due to side effects. Me and my Mother found out cannabis cured that disease. Long story short I decided to vape medical cannabis and discovered it takes the voices away completely and my thoughts are quiet and focused. I've been off all medications for A year no voices no racing thoughts and I'm calm instead of shaking. I am the research and one day real soon Doctors will study me and how cannabis treats my schizophrenia. God bless Jesus loves you.

The weed that I used to seize from people is nothing like the weed of today (the THC content nowadays is far higher). As we all tend to say: "it's not your daddy (or grandaddy's) weed" - and it's not. I knew someone, of my age group, that used to smoke "old" weed and fairly recently went back to "new" weed. He loved it but, gradually, his body got used to it. Now he's hooked on Oxycodone. He wouldn't take my warnings on either of the "weeds" (but the "old" one was admittedly far weaker) but the latter version just proved what I said: "it'll never fulfill what you think you want and you'll end up somewhere else."

Nobody reported it, I’m sure one of his goons seen the truck and said “ hey boss I seen a pot bus driving around” and Grady put the goons on it. I watched a whole documentary on one of his cases where they busted a few ppl for “jailbreaking” fire sticks and Grady said someone reported it to them, but in the case discovery there’s nobody named as the person who reported it. I understand you’re going by the laws in your county, but this is not the Grady I like to see. Trying to pretend it was the marijuana that was the problem here is sad. Sorry, but most people who are only using marijuana don’t go looking for harder drugs. These people are drug dealers, and you should have started with the coke found on the scale. Thats not acceptable. Having criminals running a business will never be acceptable. Although, if it was only pot, you kinda went way overboard with all this.

Grady it's going to be legal soon and I understand going after them if they sold fentanyl lased weed but you might have just taken out one of the dealers selling safe weed. I understand it's against the law but in the end people's lives matter.

Hey a legal canabus is an ingenious idea. These criminals screwed up a huge profitable business for greed. It's a damn shame because i can see where a mobile delivery of legal marijuana could help patients that truly receive medical benefits and are perhaps handicapped, which in most cases they are but it can also save people from transporting charges. Just a thought in states where it is legal. Could be more profitable than door dash, uber, uber eats and lyft combined.

Actually I voted for legislation of pot. Not medical Maryjane. The state representatives didn’t do their jobs and legalize it as the people voted them to do. I do not smoke the stuff but if alcohol is going to be legal so should pot. I’ve never got in a bar fight stoned, when I did smoke, but I have got in bar fights drunk. Make it legal!

cannabis is medicinal. It is most medicinal when full spectrum of plant extracted ito make in to a oil and used orally, topically or as a suppository. Big pharma does not want the truth out. Many countries around the world have research on its medicinal use. Israel is a leader in cannabis research.

The depravation is unbelievable. I live in a nice community in Balrimore County. One Saturday afternoon, during the pandemia, there was a 'baby shower' in my development, a town house so crowded thtat people spilled over into the streets. There was a 'food truck' outside the house the reeked of marihuana so badly, the smell could be felt from across the street. Legal or not legal, this is a neighborhood with young families with children. I didn't call the police because i was afraid they were going to be ambushed and killed, as was the fashion in Baltimore at that time.

Hmm, I wonder what the timeline is for the bus's operation? Given Florida has recreational marijuana on the ballot this year, this could potentially speak to motive: they could be trying to establish themselves early as a recreational dispensary before anyone else could in anticipation for the ballot measure passing.
