Damn! I'm so hyped for you to see series 2. I wrote my dissertation on the next episode (Scandal In Belgravia). Oh well - the wait won't be as bad as it was in real life. Imagine seeing this cliffhanger and having to wait 2 YEARS for the next series.

Hypno Bloom Scandal... is by far my favourite Sherlock episode. I remember watching it on New Year's Day 2012 and thinking I had already seen the best tv for the entire year.

Tell me more about your dissertation. What was ur thesis?

starprincess66 basically it was exploring the character of Irene Adler regarding feminist and adaptation theories in recent Sherlock Holmes adaptations (Sherlock, Elementary, Guy Ritchie's films). I ultimately said my favourite is Sherlock's but Elementary's is the most accurate/feminist (despite being very different). And that Guy Ritchie's Irene is shit.

Hypno Bloom very interesting! What was your major/area of study for that dissertation? I actually find Irene dislikeable. I don't know why. I feel like Stephen Moffat sucks at writing likable female characters at least in my opinion including doctor who. But I know many who disagree with me.

Glad you enjoyed that. I think waiting a while before watching season 2 is an excellent idea - though, of course, we'll miss your brilliant reactions. But it does give a nice sense of anticipation before the new season, and it's only what the rest of us had to do - though please not a whole two years! And you will definitely really enjoy the next one, guaranteed.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I have watched from 2010 and it's been a great ride. The advantage you have is you do not have to wait to watch the next series. I had too wait 2 year for series 2 to air. And another two years between series two and three. The wait was worth it and when you do watch series two I promise you will love it, and the cliffhanger will make you want to watch series two. It's going to be a whopper :)

Took some time for me to watch this reaction but wow was it good. :D that entire last scene blew my mind at the time and I'm glad to see it impacted you as well. And yeah, personally, the small reveals of Sherlock actually caring are the best bits about this show for me. Ok, mini-spoiler ahead: If the way they structure the cases and the relationship between watson and sherlock are the things you like about the show, you are in for a ride! And by the way: I just subscribed to the channel, because I love your reactions to Doctor Who. I hope you enjoy that show as much as it looks like. It is one of the best shows out there in my opinion (after sherlock of course ;)) Sorry for my english, it is not my native language.
