That scene where Sherlock 'dies' is one of my new favourite scenes. There's that emotional scene with Redbeard the dog, the amazing but terrifying moment with Moriarty (Oh, and that cliffhanger. Fuck-a-doodle-do!), the fact Sherlock lives because of how much he cares for John. Just amazing. The directing is perfect. The director of this episode was the same guy who directed The Day of the Doctor, you know. There's a little fact for you all ;D Love your reaction videos, girls! Always fun to watch...and sweet...and hilarious...and emotional...basically, every positive emotion ever! Looking forward to seeing more in the future :D

I just noticed how similar the scene at the end with Sherlock and John saying goodbye and the Doomsday scene are. Like John says something under the line of "I don't know what to say", so does Rose. Rose asks what's up next for the Doctor, so does John. We think that Sherlock and the Doctor are going to say "I love you", ect, ect.

IOweyoUSoMuch77 I like the actor, just don't think he's a good enough fit for Moriarty. BC fits the role and performs as a Sherlock would, but AS doesn't fit the role at all. in comparrison, even a two episode feature of sherlock holmes in Star Trek TNG, where Moriarty is played by Daniel Davis, THAT is a Moriarty, that is who I expected in Sherlock. I'm just hoping that AS was just the image for sherlock to absorb, so the real Moriarty would come out....but that's just me. BTW I'm not inteding to bash Andrew Scott, I just don't like his role as Moriarty, i'ts like Jesse Eisinberg as Lex Luthor...

While BC maintains to sherLook from the original canon: tall dark handsome apathetic, he brings a modern edge of oxford-schooled intellectual savant bastard (who is intolerable as well as charming like a lion-faced Alan Rickman.) But the modern look of Moriarty has changed from an Aging Mathematics professor (who looked like Christopher Lee and Max Schreck had a threesome with helen mirren) into a party-luvin' UKJoker who's flamboyant and childish like Charles Manson on Eurotrip. He's lovable, but he's not like the Original at all. I mean, does he even have a PhD?

Thanks for these videos. This episode was so fast paced that I really couldnt react much the first time through. Now on the second viewing, I made it to the domestic in 221B before the tears started. I would have felt the same, except bringing characters back without an explanation as to how they survived is just bad writing - so I didn't care when the video of Moriarty returned because it weakened the events of the episode if people actually believe its Moriarty and not the mysterious third Holmes brother using Moriarty as a way to blackmail or trick the world.

Haha, your reaction to Moriarty's last "Miss me?" ("I'm not gonna lie, yes,") was exactly the same as mine :) On a side note, I totally don't think that Moriarty is actually back. It has to be a member of his organisation that Sherlock missed. If it turns out that Sherlock never actually met the real Moriarty, and the guy who died was just a decoy, I will NOT be happy, because Andrew Scott was way too perfect to just be a fake Moriarty.

It would be remarkably easy for Moriarty to fake his death, though. Just fire the gun through his head where it wouldn't kill him. I did find it odd that there wasn't more goo when he was shot, just a flick of skin. It was his own gun, so there probably wasn't a bullet

When Mycroft mentioned that there might be another Holmes, I yelled "Sherrinford Holmes!" He's supposed to be the eldest of the brothers and the smartest. But he's not really considered canon. Arthur Conan Doyle's original name for Sherlock was Sherrinford. Luckily he went with Sherlock. But Sherrinford later popped up as being a sibling in non-canon novels.. there is a novel where Sherlock is forced to kill Sherrinford to save Watson. In another story, Sherrinford is framed for murder and Sherlock has to prove his innocence. There is another canon not related to Conan Doyle's stories where Shelock has a younger brother named Sigerson Holmes aka Sigi Holmes. If they are planning on bringing in non canon stuff, that would be interesting. I just hope it doesn't turn out that Moriarty is the secret Holmes brother. Anyway awesome reaction video again. That whole sequence when Sherlock was dieing tripped me out.

There was a hint to another Holmes from Mycroft near the end "I don't do brotherly affection.... remember the other one!" that's only roughly what he said, I can't remember the exact words. So a brother could be on the cards... Or maybe Moriarty is the brother (highly doubtful I know, but Sherlock is only a rough translation of the Conan Doyle novels, bound to be a few twists here and there). How they'd actually work the story in would be interesting to see as neither Sherlock or Mycroft have hinted that they have a personal affinity with Moriarty.
