Wow, Jason. You have come a long way! What a wonderful video-very informative, and so helpful! So thorough and you show such beautiful rooms and examples. You may be hearing from me for a color consult. We moved into home with conflicting undertones, and right now, budget-wise, it's just not a priority to change (or paint) the kitchen cabinets and fireplace surround. I have decided to just go with the warmth of them and decorate and paint accordingly. Living room has bossy faux stone/brick fireplace with orange-beige and purpley taupe stone, the present flooring is a taupey wall to wall.You can see honey oak cabinets and funky pink beige-taupe (?) vinyl in kitchen from living room. What a conundrum. Lol. I tried Neutral Ground on a couple walls but it kind of falls flat in Eastern exposure living room. Once our new sofa comes (a golden brown velvet) We may get natural maple LVP throughout house. Can't seem to find a good medium tone oak one that isnt that awful distressed look (blotchy) I may reach out for help. Sorry for long post. 😅 Once again, great video!

We need help Now sadly and there s no appointments available till mid December...You are amazing and we will try and figure it out on our own for now but what an inspiration you are...we have all Shoji white cabinets everywhere built ins and need a trim and wainscot color..sadly pure white in Colorado sun does not work too paper looking and makes shoji too green so that why we need you and our builder says we have to choose yesterday. You are still our paint hero! The best ever!

I wrote to you about 2 years ago regarding my master bathroom and bedroom are painted pewter tankard. I have spent most of the last 10 years bedridden from multiple back surgeries. Aug 1 i had to have the remainder of my low back fused and was just a few steps from becoming paralyzed. I will be flat on my back at least till February. So I don't get out of my bedroom much. I just went to Sherwin Williams today and picked up over 50 little paint sample cards. I narrowed it down to 1. Natural Tan 2. Shoji White. I had no idea these colors were coming back, but they looked best with my creamy glazed cabinets. Only problem is I have acacia wood floors that have a sight red tone. Not sure if these colors will work well with my flooring

I wish he would have replied to your question. I am facing a similar situation in the new home we just bought. I have cherry hardwood floors in the entry and hallway, off white carpet in 2 rooms, warm-brown tile in the kitchen, cool grey carpet in the den, and a horrible warm golden carpet in the other bedrooms. Uugghh.

As a painting contractor, shoji white is a no go. We have a property manager that uses this color all the time. There are so many colors that look better. It looks old and worn even with a fresh coat. It has a nicotine stained look.

Good Morning, Love this video! We are building a Japandi Home and are thinking about using SW 6343 Alluring white as a whole house color. We want the walls to feel like a light clay color. SW Playa Arsenosa was just too dark. Could you do a review of the Alluring White? I think it is a blush beige white...thank you for all you do to help people. Hi! I wonder what do you think of SW Siitake. My house faces East. I have a light tone blue sectional sofa, with medium tone stained wood cabinets & carrara marble counter tops, dark brown floors. Some decor elements in soft green. It is coastal, tranquil atmosphere. The color will be used on walls, trim & ceiling throughout the entire house. Any suggestions? Having difficulty picking a color for walls with SW Antique White trim. Small open concept home with foyer up to loft. Windows on north, couple east and south. Antique white mantle but can paint that? Not sure if Alabaster or natural tan would work. Need help. Thanks

Antique white is miserable. Entire house has this for trim color- 2005 era. Difficult to find wall colors that are not dark or yellowish to go with it or work with the rest of the house. Had dark red living room

I have a small older west facing house with not a lot of natural light.. Not good at seeing undertone tones and have tried numerous samples on my wall... My favorite so far is the natural tan. But it's just a tad to dark.. Is there anything with the same undertone? That's just slightly lighter?

I have used Canvas Tan in a guest room that faces south and just recently painted one with Neutral Ground (previously Canvas Tan)...it gets West sun. You are so right about fixed elements. Which is why I switched to Neutral Ground. Love both of the colors. Now to find one for my living/dining combo room. I'm leaning towards Natural Tan. Have a stupid stepped ceiling so wonder what color of white would work as a ceiling color. Would Pure White go with it the Natural Tan?

Just spent $400 for an interior decorator who suggested we ues pacer white on walls and bungallow beige on cabinets, we have gray/concrete island and are north with some west facing windows. After watching your videos I fear this may not work given your advice about gray, dull, muddy effects of north facing. Any words of advice or would I need to purchase consult? Thanks!
