I just painted our living, dining, halls, and 20ft stairwell Accessible Beige at 50% this spring. And I did all the doors and trim the same in semigloss. I love it. I was looking for the perfect warm "white" and this was it. Our last paint lasted 15 years, and I expect I won't paint again for that long again. So fresh and clean! (Had it painted; one of the few things we hired out for, lol.)

I had figured out what you’re saying about naming paint. I selected BM Edgecomb Gray for my main floor large home. Even after sampling it I was hesitant to use it until I saw its prior name was Baby Fawn. I think it was renamed to stay with the gray trend when it was launched to market

it wasn't renamed, it's simply also listed in the whites OC-15. And it happens to be the same as edge comb gray.

The builder painted my entire home - walls and ceilings agreeable gray (close to accessible beige) For a lot of the year, especially in winter, it feels very gloomy and dark and cold. My neighbors and I all have renamed the color "disagreeable gray." Hoping to find a warmer brighter color to paint the walls this winter, and looking for guidance on how to pick a ceiling color.

I guess it’s all in the eye of the beholder and your lighting. I find white walls tend to look like primer lol. I love agreeable gray and accessible beige , but a lot has to do with the lighting and the environment in which it is applied

I'm in a rental painted that color. Personally, I couldn't live with the drabness and its purple undertone clashed with everything I own. I covered it with peel and stick wallpaper that I can quickly rip it down when I move out. (The landlord loves how it looks, though, so maybe it'll stay.) I'm a lot happier and my furnishings and art make sense again.

It's really depends on the fix elements ypu have and ypur lighting. We do have plenty of natural lights so agreeable gray looks so nice ! With alabaster trim and kitchen cabinets I really love it warm and cozy and soft to the eyes

It's because it doesn't relate to your decorating. A paint colour should pull your space together.

If you like a color and the undertones work in your space but it’s slightly too dark - you can always lighten it to 75% or 50% strength. Keep that in mind when choosing 🙂

I had aesthetician in my bedroom in my prior room and I loved it. My tastes are traditional / Transitional; I paired it with jcpenny pinch pleated drapes, off white color. Only 2 windows in the room and they were on the south side of the house.

Also my furniture is dark, cherry /mahogany. Aesthetician white really made my furniture pop and look very rich.

Accessible beige walls made oak yellow wood flooring tone down to a rich brown like magic. No floor refinishing required. Prior walls had been contractor white.

We painted our completely paneled dining room accessible beige and I fall in love with it again every time I walk in. It’s perfect in our home. I will say that where the trim wraps around into the next room, it comes up against some warm/neutral light gray walls (in place before we moved in and haven’t painted them yet) and it looks VERY beige where it meets the gray

All flooring is hard (including stairs and 2nd floor hallways), with the exception of 2nd floor bedrooms where we use stock carpet in a medium warm neutral to minimize sound heard from the 1st floor. It was difficult to find a light but warm neutral wall color to go well with that carpet, until we finally found SW Natural Linen.
