Hot cocoa is a fabulous rose. I think the advice to plant 3 roses together is just to get a fuller looking planting, but you have to be careful not to plant them too close. Roses can be patented for 20 years in the U.S. and some other countries, which puts restrictions on their propagation. Thank you for the video!

Yes, planting 3 together definitely makes for a fuller look but could cause more disease if they are crowded.

Wal Mart and Home Depot in my area of Florida have the peony tubers. They are in the inside garden area. I love Dollar Tree seeds! They always grow great for me.i also bought two climbing roses from Home Depot. Now I need to check out Lowes!

I did pick up some flower seeds this past week. The heavenly blue and choice mix morning glorys. Also got Zinnia mixed color giants and Lilliput. they did so well last year. They did not die off until late fall. And yes I will be going back to the 1.25c store for more seeds. :) Pam in Arlington Tx.

On camillas, the sasanquas can take more sun, like morning and afternoon shade in our Texas summers. The other type you’ll mostly see are the camillia japonica which have larger leaves and those want shade. I purchased a japonica called "High Fragrance". Japonicas bloom winter/late winter. Mine has tons of blooms. One flower finally opened right before our big snow here in Houston and WOW, I'm in love. Large fully double pink flower with a sweet fragrance. My friend thought it was a rose. If you have a shady spot and like large, frilly fragrant flowers, you might consider this one although I've not seen it anywhere except at my large outback HEB store in early spring last year. It was a large 5 gallon so cost (gulp) $75 but so far very happy with the outcome. My friend now wants one for a shady spot so I'm going to get with the Outback Garden mgr at HEB and see if he can order another one. Happy gardening!

Thank you for this fun, informative video! I was surprised at your Lowe's selection of roses. I'd seen several of them in high-end catalogs. You're so right about Belinda's Dream - the blooms are gorgeous and look more like the ones on a hybrid tea rose to me. I have currently have three - one fairly new, the other two are well over 10 years old. I've found that the biodegradable pots, like you said, don't easily break down (I'm thinking it would take a year or two!) It seems to me that they dry out faster than the plastic seed-starting trays. I'm no longer planning to use them.

I’ve seen bare root roses at Sam’s and Cornelius nursery (pricier but bigger!) Dollar tree is awesome for gardening! I’ve purchased the plastic cloches, seed starting containers and a few small plastic pots and can’t be mad at 1.25 each! Have a wonderful day!

I went to Lowe's today in Terrell Texas they have a different selection a roses the nursery is Windmill. I was very disappointed when I did not see the Black Rose I'm going to other locations to see if they have them .

DOLLAR TREE seeds and FERRY-MORSE seeds are packed by same company. I bought a ton of seeds at Dollar Tree the other day and then went to Wal-mart to get additional ones. Was so surprised that the company on each packet was Green Garden Products from Norton, MA. All of my Dollar Tree seeds were excellent and I am wasting money buying the other brand!
