M Bedford To All Shia: First prove the concept of Shia Imamat and then talk about others. I am asking this because; According to Shia MAZHAB, Imams (Like Prophets) are appointed by Allah ST and if one will not recognize/accept him, he/she will NOT be a Muslim and go into Jahanum for ever. As this claim is vey very BIG, the EVIDENCE about this claim should also VERY BIG, LIKE CLEAR NAME of IMAMS in Quran. So first give any proof from Quran (Quran Challenge) that Syadana Ali (AS & RA) was Imam declared by Allah ST after the Death of Syadana Muhammad (PBUH). This is because Quran is the final book (MEZAN, means distingusher between RIGHT and WRONG related to Islam) of Allah ST and is Alhamdolillah COMMON between Shia and Non-Shia. I am sure you 100% believe that the PRESENT QURAN is the SAME as compiled by Syadana Ali (AS & RA). Regarding History, and even Hadeeses, they are different for Shia and non-shia, so first is Quran and then we can discuss about Hadees as well. So show a single verse in the present Quran, which says anything even remotely close to “O believers, after the Prophet Muhammd (PBUH), there will be TWELVE IMAMS (or especially Ali, AS & RA) chosen by Allah and you should follow them.” Do not worry I am here and will reply you IA. Summary of My Question; Gentleman my Q consists of 3 CRITICAL WORDS, i) Allah's sayings (means Quran), ii) NAME of Syadana Ali (AS & RA) and iii) IMAM. This is because as stated above "Shia Claim that, Imams (Like Prophets) are CHOSEN by Allah ST". Therefore, GO and FIND the answers of these 3 ESSENTIAL words. It is a Compulsory Q in Exam and without answering these 3 words, you will get ZERO marks by the public although u can BLACK ALL the sites of U Tube without answering COMPULSORY Question………

Allah ST doesn't need to mention EVERYTHING by details/names as it a book of signs not history (ie. how to pray exactly, names of the hypocrites, and who to follow after the prophet, etc) this what Hadees is for. Because if you give this book to any scholar there is no way they can interpret it without the Hadees, hence Ch3.Ver7: (No one knows its interpretation except Allah and those firm in knowledge). And since only the prophet PBUH could interpret it at the time, we rely on Hadees to interpret the Verses on praying and other details. Saying you only need the Quran just beacuse you're not sure of a certain Hadees is a very dangerous claim. 2. IMAMAT IS in the Quran in many verses (2:124, 17:71, 36:12, 21:73, 28:5, 32:24) and many others. And it is a necessity for Allah the all wise to put a leader and a representative on the earth chosen by him be it a prophet or an imam who is the carrier of that prophet's knowlgedge; hence 13:7(You are but a messenger and for every nation there's a guide) and 2:247(He said, "Indeed, Allah has chosen him over you and has increased him abundantly in knowledge and stature. And Allah gives His sovereignty to whom He wills). Otherwise the people will just choose whoever they want as leader and Allah won't have any hujjah and proof on them since he did't put somone to guide them and that would be blasphemous. 3. Imam Ali AS has been referred to in the Quran directly and indirectly in many verses, probably the most famous are 5:55(Your Wali is indeed Allah and his messenger and those who believe - those who establish prayer and give zakah while in the state of bowing) and 5:3(This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion) and 3:61(say, "Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves, then supplicate earnestly [together] and invoke the curse of Allah upon the liars).And as I established earlier, we need the Hadees for these verses and most if not all sources agree that these all refer to Ali AS.In addition to these and many other verses, we have the Hadees of the Two Weighty Things that refers to Quran and the 12 imams, and the incident of Ghadeer which again most of the sources if not all agree that Ali AS is the leader after the prophet PBUH and you can research that and see for yourself. I hope that I inshaallah have answered your queries and I ask Allah to guide us all to his righteous path.

@The Year 1) Hadeeses Regarding Imamat (Just an example); I wrote in my First Q that that According to Shia HYPOTHESIS, Imams are appointed by Allah ST. As this claim is vey very BIG, the EVIDENCE about this claim should also VERY BIG, LIKE CLEAR NAME of IMAMS in Quran. How can this Claim be discussed with Hadeeses because first they are different for Shia and non-shia? How can it be discussed that I listened from Flan, and flan and Flan etc. Who knows with 100 % surety that these REWAITS are correct or not (regarding Shia Imamat), how one can confirm that ALL RAWEES are truthful or lier? Claim is very big and according to Shia Jannat/Jahnum is decided/controlled by Syadana Ali (AS & RA), then how can it be decided by unsure “Rewaits”? The Quran is NOT available for these Very HEAVY Claim. According to one of the Shia Imams, All those Hadeeses, which are against the teachings of Quran, should NOT be accepted (kzbin.info/www/bejne/bHKvnXuXlsaWpNk). Therefore, the Shia Imamat SHOULD be PROVED by TEACHINGs of THIS Quran. 1) Do u accept the following Hadeeses regarding Syadana AbuBakir (AS & RA) and Umar (AS & RA)?? Number 1 & 2 Sahibee in this Umah (Sahee Bukhari Hadees No 3671); …“Narrated Muhammad bin Al-Hanafiya: I asked my father (`Ali bin Abi Talib), Who are the best people after Allah's Apostle? He said, Abu Bakr. I asked, Who then? He said, Then `Umar. I was afraid he would say Uthman, so I said, Then you? He said, I am only an ordinary person”…. (hamariweb.com/islam/hadith/sahih-bukhari-3671/) In Urdu as; محمد بن حنفیہ نے اپنے والد ( علی رضی اللہ عنہ ) سے پوچھا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے بعد سب سے افضل صحابی کون ہیں؟ انہوں نے بتلایا کہ ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ میں نے پوچھا پھر کون ہیں؟ انہوں نے بتلایا، اس کے بعد عمر رضی اللہ عنہ ہیں۔ مجھے اس کا اندیشہ ہوا کہ اب ( پھر میں نے پوچھا کہ اس کے بعد؟ ) کہہ دیں گے کہ عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ اس لیے میں نے خود کہا، اس کے بعد آپ ہیں؟ یہ سن کر وہ بولے کہ میں تو صرف عام مسلمانوں کی جماعت کا ایک شخص ہوں۔ (صحیح بخاری شریف حدیث نمبر 3671 Also, According to Dr Tahirul Qadri sahib (in one of his video on U tube) and Allama Hisham Elahi Zaheer sahib (kzbin.info/www/bejne/kJipq3aYf8Sjq7s) Syadana Muhammad (PBUH) said that I have given rewards to "Ahsan on me" for every persons in this world except Syadana AbuBaker (AS & RA) for ONE Night when He (AS & RA) was with me in Cave (Quran 9:40) when I migrated from Makkah to madina. Only Allah (ST) will GIVE HIM (AS & RA) the Reward. That Reward for HIM (AS & RA) is that ALL EIGHT Doors of Jannat will be opened and Allah (ST) will ask Him (AS & RA) TO ENTER in my Jannah from whichever door you want" (Sahee Bukharee Hadees No 3666). He (AbuBaker AS & RA) remained with Syadna Muhammad (PBUH) for about 2 week till they reached Madina. I am sure due to this reason He (AS & RA) are still together in Graves and will remain together till Quamat. …….What else a Wali needs? I need ur Feedback for these Hadeeses….….. 2) Also once Syadana Abbas (RA) asked Ali (AS & RA) that lets go to Muhammad (PBUH) and asked HIM (PBUH) about the Khalifa after Muhammad (PBUH) be Ali (AS & RA) BUT Ali said NO, I will NOT ask because if Muhammad (PBUH) DENIED to nominate ME as Khalifa, then Till Quamat Khalafat will not be given (by people or Sahaba of that time) to a Person from Bani Hashim. Ali (AS & RA) said that I know that Muhammad (PBUH) is NOT a KING, He is Prophet and will NEVER nominate Khalifa to His Son (because Ali was like his son and Son-in-Law) (kzbin.info/www/bejne/gKWXo5qDqJ5meac). 3) Do U believe that 28/7 = 13 or NOT ???????? (Very important for Proof of Shia Imamat from Quran, so answer this as well. It will not take more that 5 sec to answer it as YES or NO….)

Did Allah ST not know the name of Ali (AS & RA) or forgot to mention here??? 2) Regarding Surah Isra (17) Ayat 71 with English Translation “Beware of˺ the Day We will summon every people with their leader. So whoever will be given their record in their right hand will read it ˹happily˺ and will not be wronged ˹even by the width of˺ the thread of a date stone” (quran.com/17/71). What is its (17:71) relation with Imamat of Syadana Ali (AS & RA)? Where is the Name of Syadana Ali (AS & RA) here as Imam of Muslims after the Death of Syadana Muhammad (PBUH)? Did Allah ST not know the name of Ali (AS & RA) or forgot to mention here??? 3) Regarding Sura Mohieda 5:55; Its (5:55) translation is… "Your ally is none but Allah and [therefore] His Messenger and those who have believed - those who establish prayer and give zakah, and they bow [in worship]". (quran.com/5/55). It is a general Type of Aya for ALL Muslims who establish Nemaz and Give Zakah. Where is the NAME of Syadana Ali (AS & RA) in this Aya as Imam of Muslims after the Death of Syadana Muhammad (PBUH)? 4) Regarding Surah Mayeeda (5) ayah 3. (quran.com/5/3) 5:3; “Prohibited to you are dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah, and [those animals] killed by strangling or by a violent blow or by a head-long fall or by the goring of horns, and those from which a wild animal has eaten, except what you [are able to] slaughter [before its death], and those which are sacrificed on stone altars, and [prohibited is] that you seek decision through divining arrows. That is grave disobedience…… This day those who disbelieve have despaired of [defeating] your religion; so fear them not, but fear Me. This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion…….. But whoever is forced by severe hunger with no inclination to sin - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.” Read what is written BEFORE “The Part u r mentioning here” as part of this WHOLE AYA and AFTER this??? It is related to Halal and Haram of animals and other food-related Items. What is its relation with Imamat of Syadana Ali (AS & RA)??? According to Non-shia scholars (like Syed Moudoodi sahib; www.quranurdu.com/books/tafheem/tafheem%20urdu/), this WHOLE Sura (Mayeeda No 5) was revealed after Adeebia aggrement in 7 Hijra……. So please refer the whole Aya not the part of it, as referring “Parts of Ayas” mislead the meanings of whole Aya and are highly dangerous. For example…….Do Not go NEAR Nemaz…….. (Sura Nisa 4:43)…………Do not make friendship with your parents and brothers……..(Sura At Tubah (9:23……….Jews say Ozair (AS) is son of Allah and Christians say Eesa (AS) is son of Allah…….(At Tubah 9:30………and may be many more…. 4) Do U believe that 28/7 = 13 or NOT ?????? (Very important for Proof of Shia Imamat from Quran, so answer this as well. (Al-Kafi, Vol 2 Pg. 634) COMMENT: No doubt that these words are clear Kufr (Disbelief) and Shirk (Polytheism), because the knowledge of the unseen is only for Allah alone .. These words with no doubt countradict what Allah said in Surah Luqmaan "Verily, Allah With Him (Alone) is the knowledge of the Hour, He sends down the rain, and knows that which is in the wombs. No person knows what he will earn tomorrow, and no person knows in what land he will die. Verily, Allah is All-Knower, All-Aware (of things)" [Quran 31:34]

It can't be explained through just a verse or one hadith. The shiite theology comes from various hadith. It doesn't hurt to seek knowledge. It just gets everyone closer to the truth. Hence, it benefits both shia and sunnis. Do you have a lot of knowledge on the issues around shia/sunni? I'd like to hear the sunni perspective on some of the hadiths. I am a revert trying to understand what sect to follow and I haven't really found any convincing counterarguments (mainly because they don't address it). It makes me really doubt sunni-islam. All I hear is misumderstandings about shiism, just like I did about Islam.

One quranic evidence would be this one: And God only wishes to remove all abomination from you, ye members of the Family, and to make you pure and spotless.1 Hadith: A'isha reported that Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) went out one norning wearing a striped cloak of the black camel's hair that there came Hasan b. 'Ali. He wrapped hitn under it, then came Husain and he wrapped him under it along with the other one (Hasan). Then came Fatima and he took her under it, then came 'Ali and he also took him under it and then said: Allah only desires to take away any uncleanliness from you, O people of the household, and purify you (thorough purifying) Sahih Muslim, Vol 4, p. 1883. This is among other hadiths used to prove the infallability of the imams. How do sunnis respond to this argument?

I’m sunni Iranian There is not a single day how thankful I’m a Muslim and not a Shia I have asked in 15 years shia if they can bring one ayatollah who is hafiz of Quran Zero, nada there is not a single. They are only professional in our hadith and everything is about Ali ra Yet they call themselves for ayatollah Shia can’t listen to Quran, they go to Sunnis that says a lot

You are not informed. The primary teaching of shia theological school is recitation & tafseer of the holy Quran, Of course there is akhlaq, fikh, etc.. along side the course which definitely needs interpretation of authentic Al hadiees. Get out inquire & abolish ignorance
