The bass keep going and going, ascending and ascending, what marvellous music.
This one song is filled with more talent than 90% of the music in existence. It's infuriating when people talk about "the best" musicians and have absolutely no clue who these guys even are

+Mindstorm Records Because the MSM needs to keep Americans thinking that THEY have the best of everything. It's the same type of mindless mindset with the "World Series" (for example) which geographically is confined to the United States (along with a couple of Canadian locations).

I love casiopea but 90% of music in existence? Overstatement much? And why be angry at people who are simply unaware? Enlighten them.
@MM-vs2et4 жыл бұрын
That is such a narrow scope of thought. Don't get me wrong, Casiopea is one of the best fusion bands that has ever existed, love them to death. But 'the best' musician is not just the best technically. Sure, every member of Casiopea has 100 people worth of talent in them. But that alone doesn't make you a good musician, let alone the best. Subjectivity aside, what makes a musician good covers a wide range of factors, Casiopea nails a lot, because they are damn good, but I can think of other artists that nail a lot more. It's not fair to judge contemporary music just based on technical skills. Playing Paganini might make you a virtuoso, but doesn't make you a good musician

5:16-end is some of (quite possibly the) best bass playing I’ve ever heard. Edit: Tetsuo Sakurai is a bass god. He might not have the dexterity of some other players, but he produces a fantastic sound, has great touch, can cleanly leap between chords/notes, and has a very polyphonic quality to his playing. One of my favorite (electric) bassist ever for sure

in the "Gentle Hearts" dvd, Tetsuo was 46yrs old at the time, but he looked to be in his early thirties, a sign that music that you enjoy playing doesn't age you.

The Japanese tend to age really gracefully from what I’ve noticed. Mariya Takeuchi is 67 this year but she doesn’t look a day over 40.
