Both breeds are absolutely beautiful in their own way! My family and I had a little Cava-Tzu called Jez, who was a perfect blend of both breeds. Tragically he inherited the cavaliers mitral valve disease and passed away at nine years. Absolutely heart breaking and still miss him until this day. My husband and I now have our five year old fur baby Markie, a tri colour cavie with tons of attitude and no sign of heart disease thank goodness. Wonderful video, which definitely got the awww’s out of me. You described both these adorable breeds beautifully 🥰

My sister has a Shih Tzu and she is such a sweet dog. When I was looking to get a puppy to fill the empty gap in my life since the loss of my Boxer I was trying to decide between these two breeds as I am older and wanted a smaller dog. I chose to get a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and of all the dogs I have had through my life this breed is the best! I have a Black and Tan that I named Windsor and six months later bought a Blenheim which I named Forrest. They are so loving and easy to train because as you said they want nothing more than to please you. They bring so much joy to my life and I try to give them a great life in every way. Your video was wonderful and you described both breeds perfectly.

I had two Shih Tzus and now a Cavalier. All said in the video is correct but I must say, Cavaliers are much smarter and playful. Shih tzus are as dumb as a dog can be 😀 I loved my dogs and will forever miss them but ohhh boy, they weren't very clever. But they were very sweet and NEVER barked!!! I live in Denmark and in summer, the heat was a problem. Many times when we went for a walk I had to carry them back home. Also, the fur requires A LOTTTTTT OF WORK with grooming but we never had the house or furniture covered in fur. They really don't shed!!!! My Cavalier is a happy happy playful boy, super friendly and crazy about food. He will do anything for a treat.

You should never cut and ckcs coat. It changes the coats texture and their coats help them stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

The Cavalier’s aren’t easy peasy to train they CAN be willful but be consistent and patient as yelling at this breed or punishment can actually damage your relationship with your dog . To whom ever did this video get all your facts straight and all information BEFORE you post
