I didn’t think her routine could get more refined from last year. But not only is it more difficult, but also there’s basically no cast handstands, which are deduction traps. Honestly so smart from either her coach or her for the construction!!!

@@sunshina26 The uneven bars are referred to as 'paralele' or 'paralelas' in several Romance languages (Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Romanian). It's an easy mistake to make.

Never ever ever count shi out and also never ever ever try to predict bars finals. The craziest stuff happens. All it takes is a fall from Qui or mistakes from Nemour (and that is assuming they make the finals to begin with, again you never know!) And if Shi upgrades a bit more-- which she will-- and hits without major mistakes then yes she can Gold.

@@aguti7920 got it. I like this composition better since she linked everything together, it flows nicely. And she hasn’t been confident enough to add the half in comp as of yet. We’ll see how she fights for a medal at the Olympics with other countries going bonkers at their difficulty

@@aguti7920 No, it's not. Last year she got 6.4 adding the half twist , with the double front was 6.3. She will get 6.6 (0.2 higher) if she changes her dismount.

Qiu and Kaliya will both attempt 7.2 difficult routines at Paris. Shilese can go for 6.6 at max which won’t be enough for gold if either Qiu or Kaliya hit. But she’s making a gap between her and all the other possible bronze medalists like D’Amato

@@Appaddict01 she simply does not have the D score compared to top contenders. At least 0.5 below. And the E score here is a joke. I have not seen 8.5+ E score for any ub routine in this quad. It would be generous to have 8.2-8.3 at international events. She stands no chance for gold in paris, with this routine and execution.

She literally got the highest e score at last years WC... and has the silver and a bronze medal. Of course she's in contention for the gold. Not to mentioned she's the only gymnast who does uneven bars who has any real talent. She's actually competitive on 4 events. The others are just specialist.
