It would do great for just about everything with the exception of big, big baits where the extra line capacity of the 400 would be a bonus.

How do you think the Curado K 300 would do in saltwater flats in Florida for snook or redfish?

It would be great but the Tranx 300 is better built for the harsh saltwater environment. You will have to do a bit more TLC with the Curado. It won't be a performance issue, it would be salt maintenance.

It will handle it no problem but the 300 would be even better if you have access to it.

Unfortunately the quality has went down since they start marking them Malaysia. The green 200e7 and 300e were the best. Great video JP

I have been fishing them since the Curado was red and the K is by far the best version to date in my opinion. The Micro Module gearing is very noticeable on these compared to the older versions. A lot of people still love the e's but in my humble opinion, the new SLX XT is superior to those older Curados.

Parts are still made in Japan, and assembled in Malaysia where pay rates are cheaper.

I think a better comparison would be the Curado 300 vs the Tranx 300? Do we really need a Curado 300? Lots of good info in the video otherwise. :)
