I found this reel in the river and used your video to thoroughly clean and grease the parts. It’s still a little wierd but I really appreciate this video.

You might need to throw some new bearings in it, or replace a couple parts that might have gotten damaged if you want to get it running perfectly idk how it’s feeling, but the schematic link in the video description is where I get parts usually. And then I’d just check and measure all the bearings with a caliper tool and order the sizes I need from Boca Bearings. But that’s awesome man! Good stuff! 😎🤙🏽

Beefy lookin reel. Just picked up the Tranx 301AHG that I’m going to put on a St. Croix SB Ranger. I’m going to buy one of these as well to put on a swimbait rod I’m building. Are you going to do a on the water review? Curious how it performs.

No rubber seals in the CURADO to help keep the water out....

Either or really is fine I think. 😊 It’s pretty much the same thing. In other videos I’ve actually put () or )( on the screen lol but yeah as long as they are opposite each other it’s pretty much the same effect. It’s preference though too, if you like less tension in the star you can make em (( or )) if you wanted to. 🤙🏽
