I, generally, use a ratcheting, interchangeable regular-sized screwdriver for the initial loosening of screws. Here's a link to the brand I use:

Get some additional, varying sizes Flathead and Phillips bits while you're at it.
The adjustable wrenches I use (instead of hex nut wrenches) are Husky, but these (with the red insert) work very well... 6-inch will be used the most:

" locked up in certain places"....The whole reels junk. These are expensive reels. When you said water had got to it...Its a fishing reel, an expensive one too, so, If its not sealed, and its used near water (lol) its a piece of junk regardless of servicing. You shouldnt have to tear down a reel after use, rather, once in a while. I was curious about these reels but no longer. Seized bearings? and stack? At least Penn Spinfisher reels are sealed and much cheaper. Think ill stick with them and save the cost of buying a Stradic. Thanks for posting this it was a real eye opener.

Do you have a reassemble video? My Shimano Stratic Ci4+ has a silent drag. I took the spool off and found the wire clip (hexagon) shape just laying there. I can’t see what holds it in place along with the black plastic part that Iassume is part of the drag clicker.

Do you know where I can get a Shimano part that has been discontinued. The only place I found the part I need is in the U.K. I am looking for a drag click for a Stradic 3000FI. The part number is RD10347. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No, sorry.... they're impossible to find. The fact that a UK seller has it is great! Buy a few if you can.... those prongs on the end break all the time.
