Top tip re shifting away from the 11 😅. When I did this I found it easier to remove the stop peg as well. Very simple with a Phillips screwdriver and makes the reassembly less fiddly particularly fitting the seal. Then you just rotate the cage and pop the peg back in. But either way will work 👍

From cassette, the chain must shift, Largest sprocket, tension swift, T10 Torx, the pin to lift, Derailleur cage, now set adrift. With tension gone, the cage does sway, Spring and seal in disarray, Clean the grease, inspect with care, For damage signs, or wear to spare. Grease the shaft, the spring as well, Hook in hole, the cage will dwell, Rubber piece, flat side near, Peg pointing up, no dirt to fear. Inside the body, grease anew, Clean it out, make it like new, Derailleur upside down, the cage to slide, In the slot, the peg must hide. Pull the cage, tension to feel, Rubber tab, in slot must seal, Fiddle around, alignment true, Pin secured, the task is through. Edit: Nevermind, I have just found out about the B-tension screw :) For some reason it was way out with no tension to the chain as a result. Still, is it possible the spring in the derailleur wears out over time? Great info on your channel btw, thanks for that! I've noticed that my chain tension has become too weak when it's in the small cog front and back. My chain has the correct length. Is it possible that the spring in the derailleur has worn out? (5 years old, 20.000 km).

Are the Shimano tension springs interchangeable? Can Y5PV17000 be used instead of Y5PU13100 on a 8050 rear derailleur. Thing is these parts are so hard to find and they appear to be the same
