at 1:56 -1:57 if you look closely at the felt table, there's actually square slots that flip over. There's a square for each piece that flips open to reveal the ripped pieces, and one that shuts close to make the whole card with the ripped corner disappear. The camera angle just barely gives it away.

PMC05 well the first time we saw him at the Sydney Opera House and the tix were rather expensive, over $250 for premium seats. Second time was at a normal theatre and tix were somewhat cheaper at just over $150. Mind you we select premium experiences since we can afford to do so. Furthermore, he is worth every cent.

0:49 - 0:51 uses flicking of card to redirect attention, nothing is actually in his right hand 0:53 camera exposes that he doesn't actually have anything in his right hand starting at 1:30 you can tell he's already used slight of hand to dispose of the piece from quest's back and puts nothing into jimmy's palm. He uses multiple fingers to pretend to put something into jimmy's palm. Two goals with this action, prevent audience from seeing that nothing is placed, and by pressing hard enough into someone's palm it gives them the illusion/sensation that there actually is something there. Then watch how he quickly forces jimmy to close his hand without letting him or audience see his palm. 1:40 you can see the smoke is coming from his watch and not jimmy's palm tabletop trick is what he's famous for so idk about that part and probably why he has gig in vegas slowmo 2:42 you can see him hiding the piece into his jacket at 2:46 im pretty sure you can still see that the card still has the ripped corner afterwards when he hands the card to jimmy notice how not once can you see the full card until the end, when jimmy's holding it up in an awkward way with his two fingers covering the exact corner that was ripped then he turns his back and immediately hands it to shin who quickly palms the card in his left hand Wrote this when i was bored so, might not be 100% accurate but w/e just having fun

watch 2:42. the corner piece is connected to an elastic band that he connected one second prior that the end is connected to the inside of his jacket. When he lets go of the corner piece it snaps back into his jacket and then he rubs his fingertips to make it look like it vanished but the snapback into his jacket was blocked from view by his arm. The corner piece snaps elastically into his jacket.

Slow it down to 0.25x speed. Go to 1:56 and first pause it. You can see the outline of the pieces of cards on the table. When he says 3, he taps his foot under the table to hit a switch to flip the cards upright on the black velvet board.
