None of the songs sound the same, even with the old members/new old member that were in the band. Shinedown and their music showed me how to cope with anything and everything that has come my way positive or negative. They showed me that you don't need to make music complicated in order for people to enjoy it! What matters is connecting with the message of the song that we all will go or gone through as a human. Bert this means a lot to the Shinedown fanbase! Not trying to speak for anyone else

From then on every time I needed a pick me up from a bad day on mission I’d just put my headphones in and tune out all of the noise and ringing in my ears. After that I bought every previous and every future album of theirs. True inspirational music and great down to earth dudes. Thank you guys!

100%. Greatest of all time. More number one hits than any other band. The studio performance don’t even come close to the live shows. Brent is a master!

Damn. The power of the song in second chance is unruly. We’re all living in heaviness. Remember to be kind and spread joy, live, be happy, share, give, and be a blessing. This video has done and said a lot of great things.

I still remember getting a pedicure egg for your feet to shave down OC 80’s. Those and opanas. Then it went to Roxy 30’s and then it graduated to coke and dilaudid. Then I found Buprenorphine. I’ve been on it and off of everything else for 6 1/2 years.

I worked at a GNC in a mall in a state that most people don’t go to. Most unlikely place to run into celebrities but we got quite a few when they’d come through town. First time I met someone from Shinedown was Brent Smith. I was flipping out, kept my composure though and helped him out as I would anyone else, I had to bring it up during checking him out and sure enough it was him, he gave me and anyone else working in the store tickets to the show +1 that they were doing the next night to come as Shinedown’s guest, just had to pick em up at willcall. I went, they were opening up for Nickleback along with Breaking Benjamin. Was a great concert. He was the coolest dude. Then years later , same store. I was helping out a guy and got to talking to him and asked what he did for a living and he said he was a drummer, my reply was “oh that’s cool, are you guys big or how’s that going?” Lmao. He was like “I play in a band called Shinedown”. I was like “are you kidding me you guys are like one of my favorite bands!” . I felt so dumb I didn’t recognize him and said so and he was like “most people don’t recognize the drummer”. He laughed it off and I told him about Brent coming in and how I went as their guest etc. He asked if I’d really like to see them put on a show because they didn’t get much of a chance at that one. Obviously my reply was “I’d love to”. They were headlining XFest. So I got to go again +1 as their guest and see them at XFest. Shinedown’s members are truly genuine nice people and these stories I just told y’all are treasured memories. Thank you Shinedown for making a nobody feel important and have a chance to do something I never would’ve had a chance to do without them.

As a Florida man, I've seen Shinedown on accident 9 times.
