Anyone else the Diablo I soundtrack while listening to the podcast? Jvala has done some very good work and I totally agree with his assessment that this volume has not been translated in English. I believe in a generation or two Sikh youth will have the benefit that we didn’t as translations, in searchable text form, will be available.

That Guru Nanak blessed Babur is the biggest kathavachak bullshit in Sikh History. Anyone can search Babur in gurbani and read what Guru Nanak actually wrote about him. "paap ki janj le aayio... pg 722. There are other lines too, you should read them on your own.

all your granths say very clearly that sikhism was a panth and part of Hindu Dharam. Please dont fall short of calling it out. You may have a different identity however the gurus and old sikhs were like me.

Sikhi is a distinct path with a unique philosophy and values set by the Gurus. While Sikhi shares cultural and historical roots with India and Indic philosophy, it is not a subset of Hinduism.

Dharam hum hindu, ati priya ko kim karen nikandu, lok parlok sukh dai dani. Hindu dharam rakhen jagat mahi, ise binse tumre nahi. Feem is a painkiller. If you are a warrior and you get injured in battle you sometimes need a painkiller to keep going. If you go to a hospital today for kidney stones they give you morphine which is an opioid. Are you going to say "no I don't want it! Maharaj commands that I never ever take drugs!" No you're going to be pressing the button for another dose as many times as possible.
