What’s funny, if you think about it, is that the power levels of his Shikai and Bankai are reversed too. His Bankai he only uses for large groups of enemy minions whilst he uses his Shikai for the big bosses.

Shinji would have the best shikai in the series if he could only shut his mouth and kill the enemy sooner than later! Once the enemy figures out everything is inverted they can adapt so it's only OP if he's got the element of surprise and they are too busy figuring it out.

In the novel CFYOW, it actually isn't just reversed. He can manipulate the outputs so up is left down is right then left is left and right is up and so forth. It's why in his fight with Bambietta, he'd "faze in and out." Her perception is being manipulated so where she thinks Shinji is has been altered.

If he had not said that and she had hit him with a direct attack, then she would not have known that it was an optimal strategy. Because she only CAN attack in an AOE. It's not like her general vicinity explodes. Every time she attacks, she throws a bomb and chooses where it goes. He gave her the information to know to lay bombs everywhere. Without that information, he might be an illusion, he might just be that fast, he might have intangibility. She doesn't know what's effective then

TYBW is what’s called a Non-union dub and several of the old cast have during these 10 years since the previous season become Union actors. From my understanding, a union actor can’t work on a non-union project and that’s why Shinji, Komamura, Ukitake and a few others had their voice actors replaced in this arc

Am i the only who found it bizzare that a the Sternritter was able to steal a Visored's Bankai? A Shinigami's Zanpakutō is a part of a Shinigami 's soul, so if said Shinigami is mutated into a Visored via Hollowfication, then the Zanpakutō his also Hollowfied, including said Zanpakutō's Shikai and Bankai.
