It's so easy to get lost in Shinjuku, lol. That place is a maze. Honestly, for visitors I would recommend the other cities like Shibuya, Akihabara, Ginza, Roppongi. Shinjuku is just really massive and the city doesn't have a "specialty."

Just follow the steps in the subway. Its easy. My workplace is in shinjuku. Shinjuku has many offices and it is the daily for some! And you are wong, Shinjuku gyoen is beautiful! you should visit!

Tokyo is considered by the international media as the best and safest capital in the world, it is a clean, safe, organized city, while new york is a dirty, violent city, with a high crime rate, and is not among the best capitals in the world !

Tokyo is considered by American and European media as the best city in the world, a survey by a US tourism media showed that Japan is the country that Americans would choose to visit and live in if they could., and a survey by a website in britain in more than 50 countries showed that japan was in 2nd place as the country that people would like to live in, second only to canada! don't make absurd comparisons of backward third world countries like cuba, colombia, brazil and latin countries with Tokyo !.. . . .
