Terrible music in the background. The 8-bit NES had better tunes. If I was a boss there, I would have said, "Forget the music. Just use those sound channels to make the sound effects better."

I would also add "Also, get back there and implement the melee attacks, power-ups and the bonus stages!"

The NES versions music was terrible what are you talking about. Low polyphony, played way too fast and they put the songs in the wrong places. This game soundtrack is a pretty good representation of the arcade game.

@@nategreatgames78 I was saying the TurboGrafx-16 / PC Engine of this specific game had sound worse thanall the 8-Bit NES games did in general. I was not making a direct comparison of the two. I was saying that the version heard here for the TurboGrafx-16 is so bad that it would be better to forget about music.
