Do you use an engobe for the glaze and why does it tear so fine when you apply it (in one of your videos I saw it ... on leather-hard or scrapped shards ??) Do you use porcelain engobe? most likely just a kaolin slip, the crackles come from the refractory nature of kaolin creating differences in shrinkage between that and the clay body, you can also create a slip that reliably crackles on both bisque and green, usually a mix of kaolin and some feldspar or feldspathoid
