'94 is my first ever articulated action figure, like ever, while the figure looks dated nowadays but damn he's such a milestone to my collection back then and he's still pretty fun to mess around with even now. '94 holds such a special spot for me and continues to be to this day, while burning godzilla just aged a lot worse for me, i think the balljoint is broken on mine i really don't know i have to double check him sometimes and i didn't bother to get the reactor glow, it's kinda lame for me edit: i featured '94 fighting against '89 on the thank you neca video because it's my first neca figure fighting agaisnt my latest, that little stop motion segment i did feels very sentimental to me as time goes on, so again thanks neca!

I remember! I think you were one of the first people to drop a video for that little project! I remember watching it and being blown away and thinking “yeah this has to be at the start!” Ya did great work my guy! I’ll never forget that! It’s nice to see this guy has such a loving fanbase, especially after so long! That’s one of the fun parts about making videos like this, get to read all the personal moments. I’m just glad that people haven’t given up on what NECA presented even with other companies coming in and doing what they did either better or worse, depending on whose saying it. Makes me all the more excited to get back to these after this little break!

For the longest time I had NECA's burning and '94 mixed in against the SHMA, but I finally bit the bullet and got MA burning and tossed the NECA in a bin. In some ways I do think NECA's '94 is good. At least it doesn't fall to pieces like the OG SHMA.

I like shma figures and would get them if I could, but I can’t and neca is still my favorite goji toy line, the figures are good detailed good painted and somewhat good articulation, a great budget option compared to shma

I do love how NECA did a fully translucent burning. I had a small LED in mine and it looked awesome. SHMA, while having it's own cool look, wasn't translucent so other than the dorsal fins....no glow boi.

SHMA, at this point, they’ve re-released that Burning Godzilla so many times, I feel like they’re on the cusp of reading a fully translucent version at some point soon lol

I remember that I was a kid me and my brother and my mom whent to a garage sale and my brother found the neca 94 goji and I stole it from him because my mom know that I like Godzilla more but I was kid and I was stupid and to this day i want my brother to have it because I felt guilty but he said no because the paint is bad now because we found it from a garage sale 😂.

i have a non-poster box version of the 94 godzilla, the arm problem was fixed but the shitty neck joint wasnt. mine also got a broken head after i tried to swivel it

I won the NECA Burning Godzilla from the official PS4 Godzilla Game's Facebook page contest waaaaaay back when that first came out. Was very exciting. Still have it and he looks great. Never had his parts pop off either.

I got one of the later waves of the 94 figure before they were reissued in a box, and I haven't had any problems with articulation at all, so at least for me it seems to have been fixed.

How did you fix the loose head on Reactor Glow?

I think the bluish hue from the nails and dorsal plates is a result of the white paint application being too thin, leading to the darker color beneath bleeding through and creating this bluish green tone. I dont think the color scheme was intended I bought the original and the burning versions for my son when he was younger. For the price point NECAs Godzilla line was fabulous all through its run. The figures looked great, had great articulation, AND could survive being used as actual toys...all while not breaking the bank. I wish the line had continued

For my 94 figure only the arm n tail are easily removable bit disappointing but i still enjoy the figure

I have the original 94 goji (Not the reissue), and my figure was perfect. Probably better than all of my sh monsterarts stuff (Sham godzilla 2021/Final wars). My only grope with my figure was the tail liked to pop off but other than that it was perfect.

I actually do wonder if you could give some tips on what to do to fix the loose and popping joints on this goji. My copy has a hand that's fond of departing.

I fixed the arm on my reactor glow Goji with heat and force. Getting that ball joint actually stuck into the should port was a huge pain in the ass since receiving it. Yet somehow I finally got it. The head was tightened up with glue and constant moving so it didn’t get stuck. I’ve not tried fixing hands on some of these since they’re kinda small, not gonna lie. Much too afraid the joint will snap. Which is something I’d like to avoid lol even with prices seemingly going down.

@@ShinRobjira Thanks Rob! I've used my blowdryer and cold water and have managed to pinch the loose bits into place, the figure is nice and solid now. Thankfully my goji was one of the reissue ones so the loose head joint wasn't a problem for me to worry about.

I’m also not an expert I only have 2 figures, but unless you find a cheap one that’s second hand or something idk if you should buy NECA anymore, so many bootlegs for low prices now that can fool you if you aren’t careful

Yeah it really seems to have varied. A lot of the issues I had with my 94 & 95 friends didn’t have, or they had differing issues. Seems to have been rather common for the first few NECA releases.

This goji is ok but it totally feels like this exists because the shma 94/95 were out during that time and NECA just wanted to provide an alternative. Also 94/95 was like the go to goji that Toho had at the time before any other new gojis existed. So it also kinda felt like it was obligatory to have a 94/95 goji at that time. But NECA's figure really ended looking a bit meh to me and I never really cared for it. However, every other goji figure after 94 were much better; so at least 94/95 felt the weakest, but really was far from being the worst figure ever. And that green burning goji is so goofy I can't really hate it. But I thought it was kinda silly it was an exclusive to such a niche subscription service. Glad that never happened to any other NECA goji repaints.

@@haydenneal4608 He does very much have the bootlegish feel to him, but yes, he was purchased right from NECA's store waaayyy back in the day (or at least Toys R Us idr) It's an easy mistake to make as... yeah some of the earlier releases absolutely had a weird finish to them. From what I've seen, mostly releases after the first fixed said issues with the paint. for the most part lol
