This was my very first shiny ever beside the shiny Gyarados. I got mine in my original Leaf Green as a random encounter, I wasn’t hunting it or anything. So this one is very special to me

It's crazy how we spend so much time hunting, searching, and collecting pokemon that are simply differently colored and sparkle a bit. I always think that when hunting, but do it anyways 😆

"I don't know why I'm saving again, I don't need to save again" In my experience, it's natural instinct. I save at least three times after getting a Shiny. After I got Gligar in XD I saved at least a dozen times.

I never got around to learning how slow the encounters in that area are because when I went to hunt there my second encounter was shiny. Named him Twofer

Nice find! :) Quick question: Is it okay to Sweet Scent shiny hunt on a Ruby, Sapphire, or Emerald with a dead internal battery? In other words, will this work? Underwater encounters are slow otherwise, as are indoor Mt. Pyre encounters, if I remember correctly.

It doesn't matter, it's random. Seed is randomised when you boot up the game. It's all random.
