I've been doing a shiny only run on my Black 2, and i finally got to this point of the game. I wanted a shiny Metang in the double grass, so i set up a magnet pull strat and after 170 re's... A shiny ditto?! Managed to capture it and thought to myself, that was quick, but still want the Metang and went right back to it and with another 133 re's Metang showed up and captured it in 10 balls!! Both full odds, no boosts same day shinies! While watching your vids!

Can shiny in the emerald safari zone not run away or somthing? im asking because im shiny hunting in a Moe'mon hack (Fixed rng leg -you can SR Legendarys- And I managed to catch both of them. I recall hearing a rumor of this once somewhere but im not 1000% certain.

does the hatch time/steps gradually decrease after each trade? after checking the egg you have to reset, then you are forced take like two steps to get back to the trading room, which also forces a save. does that mean that you have limited hatch attempts on each individual egg before it eventually gets to a point where it hatches as soon as you take one step, implying that you wouldnt be able to further trade and pass it between save files?
