Hey man! Just want to verify something as I'm setting up to work on this hunt. If I do stumble across munchlax while I'm checking my trees, is it best to just soft reset, go back to wherever that tree is, save and switch the cartridge over to one of my other consoles right away? Thanks!

Make sure you're saving before you're checking each tree, otherwise you'll lose the encounter! But yes, that's it. 1. Set Honey 2. Save before checking each tree 3. Find Munchlax 4. Reset 5. Switch game to another cartridge 6. Start your hunt You'll have the Journal pop up when the system hits a new day. To get rid of it, you can either save and then switch systems again or you can turn back the clock by a few minutes before starting your hunting session. Good luck.

It does work in Crystal. Categorically. You just have to delay the turn off more.

Congrats on the Eevee! Helpful info for soft resetting at the start. If it weren’t for Magcargo the team would be solely Fire Type.
