Shiny Mewtwo in Let's Go Pikachu After WAY TOO MANY RESETS

The quotation for shiny odds (e.g. 1:1365) is actually: 100 x ( 1 - ( 1364 / 1365 ) ^ SRs So your Mewtwo "odds" were at about 73 %. Meaning that statistically 27 out of 100 other shiny hunters encountered it after and 73 faster than you. Or you could say it takes at least that long in every fourth shiny hunt. The chance of you taking 1800 SRs or more is about the same as you tossing a coins heads 2 times in a row. The statistical 50% mark is at 946 SRs. The feeling of being over / under odds is really strange and finishing a shiny hunt earlier is not much more uncommon as finishing it way later. I know nobody asked for this but you're welcome 😂
