So many cool, fun Halloween finds! I think the clip isn't a chip clip, but meant to hold a drawing or list on the fridge! That's why it doesn't open very wide. 😄🎃🎃🎃

The hanging vampire is from a company called “Paper Magic Group”. They also offered hanging pumpkin heads, skulls with top hats, and other monsters with similar black “capes”. They were also the company who put out the really cool distorted figures that look like Rat Fink designs. There was a skeleton, witch, mummy, etc.

Fun video! I ❤️ the vintage looking JOL. I found out last year Hobby Lobby doesn’t sell Halloween. 🍁 Fall items, yes. The owners are “Christian” and they think Halloween is a “pagan holiday”, which I was told by an employee. 😮 They have other policies I don’t necessarily agree with too. 🤐 🎃🧙♀️

I am 75 and I LOVE your videos and your spirit. I have 3 children and one son is a collector of everything. My other 2 have many intetests but not so much in collecting. I have collected halloween and xmas items for probably 30 yrs or more. I use to go to flea mkts, garage sales and then ebay to buy things. For the last 10 years I buy and give my treasures to my kids ... even the 2 that dont collect because they appreciate them. I would have had a houseful of treasures had I hung on to them but I figure they'll get them anyway so let them enjoy them now. Its so fun for me to see you young girls getting so excited over what I enjoy. Thanks for all the pleasures I've experienced by thrifting with you.

Hobby Lobby stopped selling Halloween a few years back. I had bought some neat pieces prior went back for more the next year and was told no they only carry fall now. I would say fancy pumpkin in costume is another brand anyway. He looks more expensive than Hobby Lobby

Haunted Mansion opened in 1969. It was shelved for awhile after Walt died. One of the inagineers who did early concept art, was Rolly Crump. He lived a few miles from me in Carlsbad CA (near San Diego) and had a really cool exhibit of his private collection including props, art that did not make it into the attraction. He told stories of Walt, did a Q&A and I got my photo with him. He was hesitant to do autographs with the size of the crowd, but I had a vintage Disneyland envelope and postcards, so he did it on the down low for me because he thought what I brought was pretty cool vintage. Very nice man, saw him a few times at the grocery store too. He passed in March, what a legend. I cherish the stories and videos I took. And I'm a D23 member, but don't recall this issue lol !

That hanging vampire looks Like something from the 80s. If the rubber is really heavy and thick it probably is. Good find... and because of the thick eyebrows and the look it almost looks like Boris Karloff

Fun fact for you: The Black Cat on the Moon you picked up @ 2:23 & 6:57 is Fiber Optic and made by Avon in 2004 🎃 I just picked one up at a local thrift for $3 and I love it. Great colors. Btw just got my NPLB shirt it’s fantastic , super graphics Laura 🙏

Hi the Dracula is a Gemmy his arm is supposed to move
@dawnpatterson7005 Жыл бұрын
That animatronic vampire should move and sometimes when I don’t use mine for a couple years they just get a little stiff inside so while you have him running and In the on position I have Laura hold the base of it and Janine moved the arms at the same time up and down in synchronicity slowly and eventually they break free
